dislike ...Team india is not the one to be used as scapegoats for confidence bulding of some1. yes rite now we arent performing well abroad and there are various reasons behind it(Not excuses, reasons!); but that doesnt throw India at the level of zimbabwe and bangladesh. I considers SA a 10 time better test team than brits-oz and its hardly a yr since india had leveled a test series with them in their homeland.Plus ; the stats speaks itself; No other team than SA has won a single test match ; forget the series against india on indian pitches since 2008. Has eng. forgotten 5-0 whitewash in india in oct?test series result could hav been completely opp. if it had been held in india.So beter stop mockin players and team ; we can enevr understand siting at our chairs how much pressure they undergo on field.if eng. wants a confidence booster; better go n beat SA in their den .

@agupta429,
they did won at Australia so the only posing question to English is Asia not home

I believe that the debacle of English batting was more due to excellence of opposition bowlers than the faults of these batsmen. Pakistani spinners were sometimes unplayable.
Keeping in mind that england had not played against any quality spinners in turning condition for a long long time, I would keep the same batting line up for sri lanka and I am pretty sure that england will comprehensively beat both sri lanka and india with the same team.

If the series is in India then we will have another whitewash by an Asian team of england.

I dont get it.. why dont you make fun of England for not being able to win 'away from home' ... and that they are only Lions of Home .. and similar stuff that was said about India?
England has lost ALL their matches to INDIA, IN INDIA... and now ALL test matches to Pakistan (In Dubai... but Stats show Pakistan have been more successful there than in pakistan itself.. So its counts as a home for them)

This is hilarious...but a correction needed. It should say "It's the ECB..asking if we're free for a 4-match series IN ENGLAND". No point in having a 4-match series in India..England will get white-washed and their confidence will hit the rock bottom!

we can now see easily how can a team defeating India so badly can be beaten so harshly by Pakistan, its clear, the home team is the ultimate winner
