LOL .. its funny for pakistanis to decide playing a "world XI" team when India are the champions. Traditionally its the World cup winners that play against the World XI (real one though, not some cheap RETIRED XI.

@ AK47_pk I do not think BCCI would not want cricket to return to Pakistan. Do you think they would skip an opportunity to make ship loads of money with one series against Pakistan rather than play countries like New Zealand and West Indies that do not bring much advertising revenue?

They gesture of the World XI should be applauded, by willing to play in Pakistan. Being an Indian would love to see India travelling to Pakistan and palying series there. The Mother of all Battles and brings the best out of every player.

Good one. But The ICC and the PCB should have acknowledged and supported any such move to host cricket matches in Pakistan.

This is so disrespectful to legened playing in international 11. Problem with world 11 clearly shows ICC is tilted heavily towards a powerful board which will do anything to stop c cricket coming back to pakistan.
Fan Following: Lights, camera, Pakistan! Fan Following: This fan thoroughly enjoyed watching the deciding T20I in a series that marked the return of high-profile international cricket in Pakistan
A Birmingham hat-trick Fan Following: A damp squib of a contest, but a fantastic day for an Indian fan in Birmingham
Eden Gardens turns on the magic again Fan Following: A pitch with bounce, plenty of runs, a capacity crowd and a last-over finish all made it a day to remember
It's time to rediscover Test-match batting Mark Nicholas: England's recklessness in the name of positivity is a sign that the art of batting in the longest format is no longer given due attention
Nottingham's the charm On tour in the UK, Firdose Moonda witnesses a fine comeback, visits the country's oldest pub, and squeezes in some yoga lessons
Trisha Chetty's legacy in the making Firdose Moonda: An inspiration in Mark Boucher got her to focus on her wicketkeeping. Today, she's a record-holder - and wants to go further
