Xeal: I'd go a step further... I think Satish Acharya is an excellent illustrator. Rarely, if ever, do his cartoons need to resort to the "nametag" that other cartoonists need to use to tell the viewer whom they intended to caricature. It's pretty clear here that he meant to draw Cook, and by association, the guy with the ball has to be Panesar (although it doesn't look that much like him). On the humour front though, I've rarely, if ever, found his cartoons funny. I suppose its harder to do sport cartoons than political cartoons, because sport isn't nearly as absurd as politics. Even so, I can't help think that a better humourist wouldn't do a far better job. Satish's cartoons, in my opinion, lack subtlety, which (in my book anyway) is the most important thing about any kind of humour. This cartoon, and many others like this, are far too literal, and not too funny as a result. Perhaps fewer cartoons per week will help?

@ Desiboi80 - I agree with Xeal Qoofaure - this is boring, even after you explained it.

@Xeal - Just because you failed to understand his cartoon doesn't mean it sucks. Almost all of his cartoons are based on what's written/said/happening somewhere. He is trying to say that the air and flight that Monty gives to his deliveries might be hazard to the low flying planes in the Queens Town. That's funny! Have some sense of humor.

Can you please not do a cartoon when you don't have anything. You are great artist and satirist but accept that you too are mortal. You can't have the high ground all the time. Like this one.. SUCKS.. yeah, yeah Monty in NZ..
'Shukriya Hyderabad for the support' Fan Following: The TV cameras focused on him a few times, his fan report made it to ESPNcricinfo, and his team won. Franklin Joseph is a lucky man
Rains, runs and an RCB revival Fan Following: You know it's been a special day if it ends with a victory lap where AB de Villiers is dancing
Watching a game v living it Fan Following: T20s are great, especially when your home team wins, but can it compare to the experience of watching an ODI or a Test?
Fixing? It's people like us doing it Ed Hawkins: It's convenient to blame the underworld for every instance of fixing, but it's ordinary punters behind many of them
