Overs 1-50  | Overs 51-100

79.4

79.5

Panesar to Adnan Akmal, no run, forward with hard hands, it rebounded off the batsman's foot but landed short of silly point

Panesar to Adnan Akmal, no run, nicely struck down the ground off the back foot to mid off

Pakistan 204/5   Adnan Akmal 0* (3b)

80.2

Anderson to Adnan Akmal, no run, awful stroke and dropped by Strauss. Terrible cricket all round. It was such a disgraceful shot, reaching miles away from his body, and a big edge to first slip, Strauss went fingers down but should have done a Ponting with the fingers pointing up. Shelled it.

Pakistan 210/5   Adnan Akmal 4* (13b 1x4)

83.1

Broad to Adnan Akmal, FOUR, opens the face of the bat and safely glides that past the slips and gully, big gap there, he keeps it down as well

83.2

Broad to Adnan Akmal, no run, lands it on a good length outside off and he safely leaves it alone

83.3

Broad to Adnan Akmal, no run, another one traps him high on the pads, this may have been sliding down leg as well, England decide not to refer this one and wisely so

Pakistan 215/5   Adnan Akmal 9* (24b 2x4)

85.5

Broad to Adnan Akmal, no run, don't ask me how that missed the off stump! Gets it to rise up off a good length, Adnan all at sea, that just sailed over the off stump

85.6

Broad to Adnan Akmal, OUT, that was given out as an lbw, strangely though. There appeared to be an inside edge onto the pads which lobbed straight to Prior, Adnan got forward to defend, the ball was bang in line with the stumps, I think Hot Spot showed a faint edge, need to see another replay of that, sorry. When Adnan walked back, he appeared rather unsure about the mode of dismissal, he had a chat with Misbah but they decided not to refer it

Adnan Akmal lbw b Broad 9 (36m 26b 2x4 0x6) SR: 34.61

Pakistan 216/6   Adnan Akmal 9 (26b 2x4)
