Saeed Ajmal to Pietersen, OUT, he's gone! Half forward, playing around a straight one - it was the offspinner, but there wasn't much turn and Pietersen went down the Bakerloo (translation: the wrong line). Even he can't bring himself to review that ... Actually, I tell a lie, there was quite a bit of turn there.

KP Pietersen lbw b Saeed Ajmal 26 (66m 46b 4x4 0x6) SR: 56.52

England 67/1   AN Cook 32* (47b 4x4)   Saeed Ajmal 0.3-0-2-1

Aizaz Cheema to Trott, OUT, got him, poor dismissal. Trott trying to square drive a short ball outside off, he didn't particularly move his feet and got a feather-edge behind to Akmal. None of the family could have shelled that simple chance.

IJL Trott c †Umar Akmal b Aizaz Cheema 23 (36m 38b 1x4 0x6) SR: 60.52

England 116/2   AN Cook 58* (75b 6x4)   Aizaz Cheema 3.3-0-16-1

Shahid Afridi to Cook, OUT, gone! Afridi held that one back a bit and Cook was a little early on the shot, lobbing the ball off the face straight back to the bowler. Still, that's another captain's knock and he's left England very well set

AN Cook c & b Shahid Afridi 102 (168m 121b 10x4 0x6) SR: 84.29

England 194/3   RS Bopara 32* (39b 2x4)   Shahid Afridi 7.4-1-29-1

Aizaz Cheema to Bopara, OUT, an almighty skier, which went pretty much straight up and down, with Umar coming in to take the catch above the stumps. Good comeback from Cheema, who started abysmally today but pulled Pakistan back into it with some excellent death bowling

RS Bopara c †Umar Akmal b Aizaz Cheema 58 (95m 66b 4x4 0x6) SR: 87.87

England 250/4   EJG Morgan 25* (29b 1x6)   Aizaz Cheema 9-0-49-2
