Pakistan warmed up for their three-match T20 series against England with a comfortable win over Hong Kong in Dubai. On the day that the first ODIs to be played in Hong Kong were announced, only a fifty from rising star Mark Chapman kept his side in the chase as Pakistan closed the game out with almost three overs to spare.

Only three Hong Kong players made it into double-figures and, after losing two wickets in the first three overs, they were soon behind the required run rate. Chapman combined with opener Anshuman Rath to put on 52 but the first of three run-outs separated them and wickets fell regularly after that point.

Chapman, who made a century on ODI debut last week, struck five fours and two sixes in 50 from 39 balls but was sixth out in the 13th over, one of two wickets for Shahid Afridi, as the Hong Kong lower order subsided.

Pakistan were not allowed to get away after choosing to bat, until Mohammad Rizwan injected some impetus with an unbeaten 55. Hong Kong captain Tanwir Afzal, who was born in Pakistan, started the innings with a maiden and Ahmed Shehzad's miserable run continued when he made a golden duck, lbw to Haseeb Amjad from the first ball of the second over.

Rafatullah Mohmand, approaching an international debut at the age of 39, hit three fours and a six in his 25 but Pakistan were 88 for 5 in the 14th over before they really got going. Rizwan combined with Aamer Yamin for a 50 stand in 26 balls and although Rawalpindi-born Haseeb returned to take two more wickets, a total of 167 for 7 proved plenty.

Looking a sorry first four players scorecard, exclude Rizwan`s fifty from the scorecard only the tale enders have contributed to the total score.

I think this series vs Eng should be the last one for any new player before Wt20. in this squad they should add Imad wasim & Zafar Gohar and play this suqad for next few t20s. less than 10 matches left before t20 so experimenting should be stopped now. surprised to see no zafar gohar in squad vs eng in absence of imaad. they both are same type of players so wont be playing together.

Rizwan can only score against minnows - when came to score against real opposition he showed that he is a mediocre player of low potential and does not have the ability to bat against a competitive opposition. It is funny to hear Ramiz Raja's praises while he is on commentary about the Pakistani Players which really are a joke of the century ...!!

Good to see Afridi has the courage and guts to try out new guys. The best way to build up a good team for world cup. Shahzad and akmal are the two most complete batsmen with their technique and scoring ability. They need to get back well with their form. Pleasing to see Rizwan's contribution as well. We really need a healthy competitive environment in our team to take best out of our guys. and make a standard that only best deserves a place in the side. We need to try out Aamir Yamin, Zafar Gohar, Bilal Aasif, Muhammad Aamir, Rafatullah, Nauman anwar,

Good to see Rizwan making a useful contribution. Ahmed Shehzad failed again today and must play in BPL to get some valuable time in the middle. T20 Xi: Rafatullah Mohmand, Bilal Asif, Mohammad Hafeez, Sohaib Maqsood, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Shahid Afridi, Aamer Yamin, Sohail Tanvir, Mohammad Irfan

Hello Mr Shoaib,I think you didn't read scorecard, afridi took 2 wickets,2 run out and catches and I don't know people expect batting performance from him,he is a bowling all-rounder.

It's just one game. Also nobody favors shehzad I'm this format. He's only proved his worth in ODIs and tests.

Why is Afridi the captain when he's useless? I'd hardly call this a confortable win when we were 85/5 in the 14th over with a team like HK. No disrespect to them. Really poor show from our boys. The T20 WC will be a miserable experience for us.

Good to see rafautullah scored as it would give him more confidence against his debut matxh 2.afridi slelection is still questionaable. 15 matches onwards including t20interantionals bpl and psl matches, selectors need to look at afridi performances. 3. Where are ahmed shahzad supporters now. 4.need amir back in team against india. 5.hope pakistan will gve tough fight againat englamd to claim series win
