94.4 to K Rabada, inswinging yorker to the left-hander, and Anderson's fierce appeal is upheld! There was bat and pad involved there, but despite a review, Rabada is on his way for a first-baller! Good delivery to the new batsman, right up under his defences, hard to tackle those before you have your eye in. 336/7
2849123.2512112020
64.6 to AB de Villiers, feels for one outside off, Root snaffles the edge! Two-ball duck for de Villiers, who's not done much to back up his pre-match bluster, even though the team position is pretty healthy... Broad gets him again, for the 10th time in Tests, not a great shot from AB, hanging a wonky bat out in the wind. 238/3
93.6 to T Bavuma, he gets the nick this time! A nothing sort of grazed push, good reward for Broad sticking to his line and length. That looked like the legcutter, just deviating enough off the pitch to find the edge. Bavuma's enterprising knock is over. 335/6
25510424.1610814300
10.4 to D Elgar, Elgar skips out, gets an inside edge on a mighty slog down the ground... and Taylor has somehow held on at short leg! Has he? We're going to have to see a few replays but, as in Joburg, Taylor is off an running in celebration... It looks like he's somehow managed to catch the ball between his legs, having anticipated the shot, stuck out a hand and deflected the ball down... The ball is slightly obscured but it seems to land on his right leg as it folds under his body and gets trapped, Taylor then reaching round to pluck out the ball triumphantly, like he's just laid an egg! The umpire's soft signal was out and Rod Tucker is satisfied, Taylor is the golden goose and England have their first wicket!. 35/1
77.1 to JP Duminy, a massive mow across the line as Duminy aims something hideous out through midwicket, but that one is shorter, flatter and goes straight on ... the finger goes straight up and Duminy is so out that he doesn't even bother to review ... the collapse is on!. 273/5
2239114.139616010
74.5 to SC Cook, got him! A touch of indecision as Woakes finds some lift outside off, Cook thinks of playing, thinks of leaving, and splatters his own stumps with a loose drive and an inside-edge!. 271/4
2738643.1811610000
63.5 to HM Amla, bowled him, Amla plays on! Stokes brings relief, he punches the air in wearied celebration... Bit of a gap between bat and pad as Amla pressed forward and a thick edge destroys the timbers, leg stump on the ground. 237/2
103.5 to KJ Abbott, pitched up, right in the block hole - and Dharmasena is happy to give this one! That looked pretty plumb but Abbot reviews anyway, don't think he's going to get lucky, though... Yep, past the inside edge, umpire's call on impact and (hypothetically) scudding right into the stumps. 386/8
129.2 to DL Piedt, short and climbing outside off, gets a top edge on the cut - and Bairstow swallows this one! A more-than-useful stand is broken, third wicket for Stokes, who just looks tired. 468/9
131.6 to M Morkel, slips in the yorker, smack on the boot... and up goes the finger! Stokes finishes things off, no more reviews left for South Africa so Morne has to slope off and get into his bowling boots. SA have done a very solid job in their first innings. 475/10

5.2 to AD Hales, pitched up and gets Hales driving, the ball screws off the face of the bat... straight to point! Another innings that was more whimper than bang for Hales, despite the positive start. He seemed to check the shot slightly, when a full-blooded flash to a half-volley was probably more in order. 22/1
23.2 to NRD Compton, done by one which scuttles! Those need to be straight and this one was. Back of a length, Compton every right to be on the back foot and it grubs through to hit him at shin height. Bad luck for Compton. 78/2
69.1 to JE Root, beautiful line, takes the edge - gottim! Rabada gallops off in celebration, he's taken out England's key man! The gazelle bests the lion, full enough to make him play and he just got the ball to curve away, kissing the edge through to de Kock. 208/4
71.3 to JWA Taylor, short ball, Taylor swipes at it... gone, nicked off the toe of the bat! South Africa are cock-a-hoop, Taylor starts making a slow trudge off, Rabada has four! Hadn't been a comfortable stay at the crease, seemed to panic and be through the stroke a little early. No thought of reviewing. 211/5
71.6 to JM Bairstow, back of a length, homing in on the gloves, Rabada has five! Brilliant from the young man, rolled his fingers down the side of the ball and had it coming back at Bairstow unerringly as he tried to leave, just a flick of the glove and England are staggering to lunch in a right old mess. 211/6
81.2 to BA Stokes, edged and gone! Stunning delivery, on a perfect length and this time nipping away. Stokes was seduced by the movement of the previous ball, drawn into the stroke and a fat fizzing edge to second slip!. 252/7
99.3 to SCJ Broad, short, pulled, a steepling top-edge, Cook steadies himself on the edge of the square leg boundary, pockets the chance, and Kagiso Rabada has seven!. 320/9
2447803.2510711100
23.247323.1211113010
59.2 to AN Cook, a beauty! Cook is taken by surprise as Morkel nails his length for the first time in this spell. Nipping off the seam and climbing from a tight line, angling into the left-hander, Cook was committed to the stroke and had no chance to readjust as the ball nibbled off his edge to the keeper. 177/3
104.2 to MM Ali, smashed on the up, into the deep, cries of catch it, and Moeen's rearguard is ended with a simple snaffle at extra cover. 342/10
401303.25141000
502114.20193000
92.4 to CR Woakes, angled across, clips the edge and ricochets up for a simple catch at slip! Duminy breaks a useful little stand, sliding the ball on and although de Kock couldn't take it, the ball looped up of his knee straight to the waiting Elgar. 295/8

2.2 to D Elgar, perfect from Anderson! Round the wicket again, angling into the left-hander, nibbling away, Elgar is committed and snicks a fat edge to Bairstow!. 5/1
21.1 to SC Cook, teaser in the channel, Cook feels for it - and nicks off! England strike and it's the debutant and first-innings Centurion centurion who goes, just reaching away from his body as he attempted to drive. Anderson removes Cook, to the delight of, er, Cook. 49/2
21.3 to AB de Villiers, booming in-ducker from Anderson, rapped on the pads... and up goes the finger! De Villiers reviews, did he hit it? No, replays clearly show it beating the inside edge, thumped the front pad and Hawk-Eye has it demolishing leg stump! Another two-ball duck for de Villiers, he has to go... "Was that quick enough for you?" was surely the rejoinder from Anderson. That was a snorting delivery. 49/3
1543312.20764010
78.6 to HM Amla, this time there is an edge, chasing a wide one! Amla misses out on twin hundreds in the match, Broad's tactic of trying to frustrate him pays off... It was a slash on the walk, an audible nick and he keeps on walking. 223/5
1643612.25755000
41.2 to JP Duminy, drilled and edged, and Duminy departs! That was telegraphed by the previous ball, Stokes was finding prodigious swing across the left-hander's bows. No need to be drawn into an extravagant drive but he couldn't help himself. The ball was never there for the shot, hurtling ever wider towards the cordon, Bairstow gathers a thin edge with glee. 106/4

6.2 to AN Cook, what a catch! Morkel grabs a one-hander, the gangly giant plucking Cook's uppish drive as it flew back to his right! The force is with South Africa here, Cook will have to wait a few months for his milestone. 8/2
23.6 to JWA Taylor, got him, gloves to the keeper! Morkel makes the first incision in his opening over, digging the ball in and it rears sharply, does for Taylor fencing on the back foot... Good ball, good night. 58/4
29.2 to BA Stokes, dug in short, Stokes pulls... straight down the gullet of deep square leg! Everything must go, and quickly... Stokes plays a pretty dumb shot, with a man back, and England have frittered away four wickets inside the first nine overs of the day. 83/7
10.423263.00504011
3.4 to AD Hales, jags back in, strikes the pads, that's bang in front! Hales' tour finishes with another failure to launch, might have been a little unlucky with some low bounce but he was hanging back in the crease and pays for it. Would have plucked out middle. 2/1
9.1 to NRD Compton, full outside off, Compton drives and nicks to the keeper! Rabada has another - but Compton reviews! Not sure why because replays confirm a thick edge. An act of desperation and Compton's a goner. 18/3
28.3 to JM Bairstow, not for long, though - he edges his very next ball to de Kock! Rabada's so good he corrects his mistake straight away, this was shorter, Bairstow hung back and prodded at it, thin edge through to the keeper... and that is his maiden Test ten-for, the youngest South African to do so, a magnificent showing. 83/6
32.4 to CR Woakes, short outside off, Woakes throws the bat - gone! Another nick, another catch for de Kock, another wicket for Rabada, who has 11 now. England continuing to make an apple crumble of this. 91/8
34.3 to SCJ Broad, full, misbegotten drive, edged to slip... another domino falls! De Villiers clutches the edge as it flew quickly to his right, Rabada is wreathed in smiles as he completes another five-for to put England on the brink. 101/9
34.4 to JM Anderson, full from Rabada, leg-stump yorker and it nails Anderson on the boot, right back in front of his stumps,... Dharmasena doesn't give it but, with the time to confer almost elapsed, South Africa decide to review and it's a good job they did, because Hawk-Eye shows the impact to be in line and Anderson to be plumb in front! Rabada has 13 and it's unlucky for England, they've been utterly shuttlecocked today: South Africa win by 280 runs. 101/10

24.3 to JE Root, flighted, outside off and Root's drawn into driving - quite why, who knows - and he sends a regulation edge to slip! Delight for Piedt and South Africa have two in the first four overs of the morning. They're in no mood to have their party pooped. 58/5
