Excellent little session with the ball for Sri Lanka, they needed that after stalling earlier with the bat. There is turn and bounce for the spinners, and Pakistan will have to bat well to get close to Sri Lanka's 413.

9.50am Welcome to day three of the final Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The track which was benign on the first day, starting helping the spinners on the second day, from late on in the first session. Sri Lanka have two frontline spinners in their line-up, Suraj Randiv and Rangana Herath, and Pakistan's batsmen need to be at their best if they are to match Sri Lanka's first innings score of 413. Sangakkara insists the track is still batsmen friendly though he also hopes to restrict Pakistan to less than 250.
Welegedara charges in for the first ball of the third day

Andrew: "Something I don't get, Pakistan are batting on an absolute road, against a fairly pop-gun bowling attack (aside from Herath) and the two batsmen are fairly well established, so why don't they pick up the pace? It's good to sey that they can bat for extended periods of time regularly, but batting defensively for the sake of batting defensively is both pointless and unbelievably boring." Things have got better in the last few overs.
