An exceptional talent and highly respected player, Julie has captained NSWIS Blues to the WNCL title and cemented herself in the Australian team as a valuable bowler and outstanding fielder, helping them to lift the World Cup in South Africa in 2005.

She represented Australia at the previous World Cup in 2000 and in the 2001-02 Rosebowl Series against New Zealand she took 3 for 18 at the MCG.

She is one of a handful of Australian players to have taken more than 50 one-day wickets in her career, with a best of 4 for 31 against New Zealand in 2003-04 and has previously topped the list of leading wicket-takers in the domestic league.
