The Pakistan Under-19 team, led by Khalid Latif, will leave for Colombo, Sri Lanka, in the wee hours of Saturday morning on a three-week tour. During the tour, the Under-19 team will play two three-day matches and five limited overs internationals.
The team was originally scheduled to play three one-dayers besides two three-dayers. But considering the fact that it is a preparatory tour for next year's Youth World Cup, the matches have been increased with mutual agreement.
Squad: Khalid Latif (Captain), Jahangir Mirza, Shahid Yousuf (vice-captain), Yasir Arafat, Shahid Siddiq, Afaq Raheem, Salman Qadir, Naeem Ahmed (wicket-keeper), Mohammad Altaf, Adeel Malik, Aamer Yousuf, Hidayatullah, Nasir Jamshed, Riaz Afridi.
Officials: Sultan Rana (manager), Aaqib Javed (coach).
Itinerary:
Aug 9: Arrival in Colombo
Aug 12: one-day practice match against Sri Lanka Under-17 at Panadura, Esplanade, Colombo.
Aug 13: one-day practice match against Sri Lanka Under-17 at Panadura, Esplanade, Colombo.
Aug 15-17: three-dayer vs Sri Lanka Under-19 at Nondescripts Cricket Club, Colombo.
Aug 20-22: three-dayer vs Sri Lanka Under-19 at Welegedera Stadium, Kurunegala.
Aug 24: first one-dayer at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara.
Aug 27: second one-dayer at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara.
Aug 29: third one-dayer at Galle International Stadium
Aug 31: fourth one-dayer at P.Sara Stadium, Colombo
Sept 2: fifth one-dayer at P.Sara Stadium, Colombo
Sept 3: arrival in Karachi
