Zimbabwe in Pakistan ODI Series - 3rd ODI

Pakistan v Zimbabwe

Pakistan won by 37 runs

14.2

Chigumbura to Salman Butt, OUT, And what a time to post that comment?! Butt is gone, flashing to backward point. It was a length delivery, outside off stump and Butt tried to make his own length and went for a slash but it flew straight to the fielder. Zimbabwe have broken through.

Salman Butt c Taylor b Chigumbura 23 (54m 46b 3x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Pakistan 47/1   Nasir Jamshed 21* (40b 1x4 1x6)   E Chigumbura 7.2-1-24-1

17.1

Mupariwa to Younis Khan, OUT, Strikes first ball. Caught dead plumb by the inswinger. It started to move in late from the off stump line and struck the front pad dead in front. Younis didn't expect the ball to come in the air and had pushed his front leg a touch across. Gone! Mupariwa, who dropped that catch, is singing the redemption song.

Younis Khan lbw b Mupariwa 10 (14m 10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Pakistan 66/2   Nasir Jamshed 30* (47b 3x4 1x6)   T Mupariwa 0.1-0-0-1

19.1

Mupariwa to Nasir Jamshed, OUT, pulled straight to midwicket. It was a seam-up delivery, on the stumps and Nasir went for a pull, but only succeeded in sending it straight to the fielder

Nasir Jamshed c Chibhabha b Mupariwa 32 (81m 49b 3x4 1x6) SR: 65.30

Pakistan 70/3   Mohammad Yousuf 1* (10b)   T Mupariwa 1.1-0-4-2

22.1

Price to Mohammad Yousuf, OUT, Run out! Malik is gone. Yousuf had come down the track for a lofted shot but was beaten in the flight and the inside edge saved him from getting stumped but the damage was done in the other end. The ball had rolled to short fine leg where Willams swooped on the ball and acted on the confusion between the batsmen and threw in a direct hit at the non-striker's end. The Pakistan captain is gone. He was late in getting back too; almost as if he didn't expect the throw to come in at his end.

Shoaib Malik run out 3 (14m 9b 0x4 0x6) SR: 33.33

Pakistan 76/4   Mohammad Yousuf 4* (19b)   RW Price 1.1-0-3-0

23.4

Mupariwa to Mohammad Yousuf, OUT, The pressure works! Yousuf is caught and bowled! Sharp catch too. It was fullish and Yousuf drives powerfully to the left of Mupariwa who holds on to it. 66 for 1 has turned into 78 for 5. Enter Shahid Afridi.

Mohammad Yousuf c & b Mupariwa 5 (33m 26b 0x4 0x6) SR: 19.23

Pakistan 78/5   Misbah-ul-Haq 0* (2b)   T Mupariwa 3.4-0-7-3

38.4

Mupariwa to Shahid Afridi, OUT, Afridi is gone. Big wicket. He walked across the stumps, went for a swipe across the line but got a thick edge over covers where Mazakadza ran behind to hold a neat catch

Shahid Afridi c Masakadza b Mupariwa 85 (61m 52b 2x4 6x6) SR: 163.46

Pakistan 194/6   Misbah-ul-Haq 30* (40b 2x4 1x6)   T Mupariwa 7.4-0-25-4

43.1

Williams to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, And the reverse sweep goes awry this time. You can't win with that shot all the time. It was full and on the middle and leg, Misbah went for his reverse sweep but edged it straight to backward point.

Misbah-ul-Haq c Chigumbura b Williams 44 (85m 50b 3x4 1x6) SR: 88.00

Pakistan 219/7   Kamran Akmal 8* (17b 1x4)   SC Williams 0.1-0-0-1

48.3

Brent to Kamran Akmal, OUT, Caught in the deep. It was a short-of-length delivery, a touch slower too and Akmal pulls it in the air to deep midwicket

Kamran Akmal c Chibhabha b Brent 28 (37m 34b 2x4 0x6) SR: 82.35

Pakistan 259/8   Kamran Hussain 20* (15b 1x4)   GB Brent 8.3-3-31-1

49.4

Chibhabha to Sohail Tanvir, OUT, full pitched and heaved straight to long-on

Sohail Tanvir c Brent b Chibhabha 2 (6m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 66.66

Pakistan 267/9   Kamran Hussain 24* (19b 1x4)   CJ Chibhabha 2.4-0-28-1
