RELATIONS
(brother)
A member of the famous Nevill family who played such a dominant role in English history, he succeeded his brother as Marquis of Abergavenny in 1927 and held the title until he was killed after falling from horse while out hunting in 1938. With his brother an invalid for much of his life, he took charge of the family estates but found time to play a variety of sports and also to marry three times. His one first-class appearance was for his own XI against I Zingari at Lord's in 1879. On the opposite side was his brother, the Earl of Lewes, making his only first-class outing.
