Mohammad Saad hits century in drawn game

Hyderabad and Peshawar played out a draw at Niaz Stadium, as Peshawar took first-innings points. Resuming on 75 for 2, with an overnight lead of 53, Hyderabad were bowled out for 238. None of the batsmen managed to pass fifty. Rizwan Ahmed, Ghulam Yasin and Ayaz Jamali all made scores of 38. Sajjad Ahmed and Waqar Ahmed took three wickets apiece. Peshawar were left to chase 215 but they only had few overs to bat out.

Mohammad Saad's unbeaten century, and Usman Salahuddin's 80 were the highlights of the final day at the Gaddafi Stadium, as Karachi Whites and Lahore Ravi played out a draw. Karachi were bowled out for 401, giving them a lead of 121. With only two innings completed in three days, a draw loomed. Lahore faced an early scare when they were reduced to 17 for 3. Salahuddin and Saad came together to add 153 and take Lahore to safety. Saad hit 11 fours in his knock, while Salahuddin hit ten fours.
