Arthur Trelor was a round-arm bowler who played once for Middlesex as a professional in 1872. His main claim to fame was as manager of the Clown Cricketers, a travelling group who mixed serious cricket with comedy and at their peak they attracted crowds of several thousand. In 1876 he took the Clowns to America. He umpired two matches on the 1868 tour by the Aborigines
