4.5 and one of 'em's gone! What a catch from Peterson at mid-on! It was swirling, he had to run to his left, then has to move back and then dive even further to pluck a smashing catch over his shoulder! It wasn't quite the best length to come forward and go for that lift over the leg side. Hits a little too high on the bat and he lost control of it, judging by how his bottom hand came off it 37/1
21.5 tossed up on off stump as Finch lifts it. He's struck this really welll, which is why it carries as far as Faf on the edge of the extra cover boundary. Takes it with a reverse cup, but his momentum was taking him back, so he throws it to team-mate Rossouw who completes the catch. Needed a bit of brilliance like that to dislodge Finch 137/2
36.6 caught at deep midwicket! It was just back of a length but Watson want forward anyway and hits it off the bottom of the bat. Checks it as he walks off the field. Finally South Africa have a breakthrough 218/3
43.5 beautiful shot, although some of the sheen comes off it as Rossouw takes a spectacular catch. He had reached the pitch and ensured he was beside the ball and set up in a way that he might well have straight driven it over the covers. But the problem was he had hit it in the air and Rossouw runs in from deep cover and picks up a lovely, low catch while sliding forward 264/5
40.6 runs down and has hit it right off the toe end! A typical Maxi dismissal as he tries to make too much out of a good ball, just back of a length. Behardien is at mid-off and completes a good catch. 246/4
44.1 and has picked up a wicket. Gee, someone began counting their chickens too early. This was not quite short enough to pull, but that is what Bailey does. The bat face turns in his hands and the ball goes straight up to be caught by Rossouw again, this time at mid-on 264/6
45.1 bowled 'im! And we thought only South Africa can choke! What a delivery, he had enticed the batsman to dance down the track, hits the rough and turns right through the gap between bat and pad and hits middle. A dream dismissal for a left-arm spinner 267/7
    not out
45.5 two in the over! Robbie P is on fire! Another slider, way too quick for Cummins who is stuck in his crease and pushes tamely. Off stump pegged back. Sydney goes quiet, South Africa roar! 267/8
