West Indies win by 15 runs having twice been miles behind in the contest. They are fought, scrapped and battled brilliantly with bat and ball. Dwayne Bravo crucial with both. Darren Sammy, too. Sunil Narine out-foxed plenty of England's batsmen. Title for a book: How to lose a match from 45 for 4 and then from 180 for 2. Stay with us for the presentation ceremony shortly. Dave Townsend: "How is Ashley Giles's CV looking this evening?"

Great to see joy and smiles on the face of West Indian supporters in the crowd. And they won this match without Gayle, Samuels, Pollard and Roach. What about England? Well, the two debutants did very well. James Tredwell was excellent. But the rest has serious question marks: the pace bowling and the middle order. They were very good for 20 overs of each innings, so maybe hope for T20 after all?

Presentation time: Stuart Broad "I'd say up to 40 overs we were fantastic, certainly the first 30. We conceded 100 off last seven, credit to West Indies batsmen but we need to get better. We probably didn't react to conditions as well as we could. It's not all doom and gloom. It was a huge achievement for Michael Lumb on debut. I wouldn't look too much at the batting, it's the last 10 with the ball that hurt us. It's about cutting out mistakes with the ball.

Dwayne Bravo: "It was a great team effort. We didn't start well, but then Simmons and myself laid a platform. Over 250 we back our bowlers. In the last 15 I told the guys we would win the game. Narine had five overs. We know once the run rate starts to go up it will be difficult. If we hold our nerve we will win. We can improve, definitely.

And Bravo is also the Man of the Match. Right, that just about wraps things up for today. It's 1-0 to West Indies. It was a good match with plenty of ebbs and flows. We'll be back on Sunday for the next contest but, for now, from Andrew McGlashan and Alex Winter it's goodnight.

Rampaul to Bopara, 1 run

dragged down short, pulled out to deep midwicket...all done and dusted

17 off one. Needs to be a big hit to win from here.

Rampaul to Bopara, no run

down the track, head in the air, heave to leg. Misses.

2
Rampaul to Bopara, 2 runs

angling into the pads, flicked away and for all the world it appeared to have split deep square and fine leg but it's another excellent flick-back on the boundary...Powell this time

Three sixes for tie? No, I don't think so either

2
Rampaul to Bopara, 2 runs

pulled into the leg side, deep square leg gets around the boundary

Weldon : "As a West Indian, I have not had that scent of victory in such a long time. It smells so good!" Enjoy

Rampaul to Bresnan, 1 bye

connects with fresh air again, fuller delivery and it scoots past leg stump. They run a bye to the keeper. That's fine for West Indies.

49.1
Rampaul to Bresnan, no run

well, he goes back of a length and beats him as he tries to heave to leg side

So 22 off the last over. Just keep it full and straight, Ravi (Rampaul)

Dwayne Bravo to Bresnan, 1 run

yorker, at leg stump, doesn't go further than the fielding circle. Yorkers still work. Who'd have thought

Dwayne Bravo to Bopara, 1 run

a length ball, but only costs a single down to the busy Simmons

48.3
2
Dwayne Bravo to Bopara, 2 runs

this one is out of the middle, drilled down to long on where Simmons does well to knock the ball back in before he steps over the boundary...sharp work

Just unable to find the boundary often enough late on

Rampaul to Bresnan, 1 run

short of a length, at the body, bobbles very close to the stumps but Bopara calls him through...mighty close to the woodwork as it flicked the flap of the pad

sandeep: "Interesting strategy by England. If they opened the bowling with Root because it helps spin, why did they not use Bopara at all? They persisted with Jordan and they will lose this game because of that decision." On such decisions...
