Presentation

Dwayne Bravo: "This win means a lot of us, the team really needed this to get our confidence back. To be honest, we lost Gayle early, but Charles and Bravo did a fantastic job to revive the innings. It is not a 250 or a 260 wicket. Batting last on this surface is always a tricky one. Darren got to fifty which really helped us to post a good total. But then I told Polly to bat deep in the innings and told him that if we get 230-240 that would be good. Narine is the no. 1 in the world. He had an off day in the first game. Saeed Ajmal also had a bad day, but Narine is the no. 1 bowler and he bounced back today."

Sunil Narine is the Man of the Match for his four-wicket haul. He says, "I just had to give it my all. I just bowled a little quicker because on this pitch, some were staying low and some were bouncing, so it was not an easy pitch. My finger (which was injured) is 90% ok."

Misbah: "It was a good total on this pitch. i got the feeling that it got slower and slower and it got turn, so credit to them, they bowled well. There was not much difference in the pitch between the innings, but I think they handled the bowlers better. For us, it was wrong shot selection and we kept losing wickets at the wrong time during the chase. We have been winnings games while chasing, we won in South Africa that way, but today, we just played some bad shots."

West Indies have found a way to square the series after being blinded in the first ODI by the Afridi show. Pakistan didn't lose any wickets upfront unlike the first ODI, but their start was slow as the West Indian pacers exerted tremendous control. But just when you thought they were opening up, they started losing wickets. Jamshed survived a few chances on his way to a half-century, but it was a laboured effort and apart from holding one end, didn't really do much for the team. The chase was in control however till Jamshed and Misbah were around, but then came Narine, almost unplayable today. He took Hafeez and Afridi plus two other bonus wickets.

Haseeb Elahi: "Good day for the Windies. They've now got the series level. Good come back by the home team. And unfortunately Pakistan has another complete middle order disaster today!"

DP: "Its interesting to note that the margin of victory is the same as the number of extras (38) given away by Pakistan.." ---- Well almost..

yasir: "Also same number of run margin PAK women team won today... 38 it is"

Dwayne Bravo to Asad Ali, OUT

It's game over! Asad Ali, with not much left, comes down the pitch and gives it all with a heave, but only gets it as far as Pollard at deep midwicket

Dwayne Bravo to Umar Akmal, OUT

oh no, he has fallen immediately after getting to his landmark! And with that, Pakistan have lost their final hope. He goes after a length delivery, but holes out at long-off

Dwayne Bravo to Umar Akmal, SIX runs

oh wow! He charges out and throws the kitchen sink at this length delivery, whacks it very high over deep midwicket. Holder at the boundary gets a hand to it, but parries it over.. That's his half-century as well

Kashif Rashid: "Pakistan is missing the trick here.. The batting order is all wrong which leaves too much to get in the end. Your top three batsmen should be in the top four which means that Nasir, Misbah and Umer Akmal should be there. Hafeez and Asad should come after. Umer is comfortable at an 80 strikerate but he always has more to get. He needs to go up the order so that there is less to get later. Simple"

goes for the big slog, but he is too early as the ball arrives a little after he is done with the swing.

Awais: "the Pakistan think tank should realize now that in no way we can chase targets by that same approach of starting slow to save wickets (which they still don't do spite of playing slow) and leaving it for the lower order sloggers and tailenders to finish. They need to brave and aggressive from very first ball!"
