Commentary

West Indies win the third and final one-day international by five wickets to seal a 3-0 series whitewash. Though Zimbabwe challenged them at times today, the visitors never had enough runs on the board after their middle order stumble. The pair of 22-year-old legspinners, Mutombodzi and Mushangwe, both showed plenty of promise in their spells, but Zimbabwe's seamers once again lacked penetration. Darren Bravo once again powered his team's chase, playing to his strengths and waiting for inevitable loose deliveries to compile a cool, unbeaten 72 from 103 deliveries. In fact, he may well be the Man of the Match for his sparkling effort. Stick with us for the presentations to find out, and also see what the two captains have to say for themselves.

Haniff Yusuf: "I agree, it is nice to see these promising bowlers. However, how can they get better when they don't get enough matches to play per year? They'll grow in confidence despite the losses, but practice makes perfect. ZIM needs more International matches."

Alistair Campbell chats to Brendan Taylor first. "I probably put this down to myself and Vusi getting out at the wrong time, 210 was never enough and we were outplayed." He has some kind words for his two young legspinners: "The wicket helped them, but they turn out good results all the time at home so I'm not surprised. They certainly have a good future for us. But this series is behind us now, and we've got to look to the t20s. Our heads will be high, and we'll bounce back in the t20s. This is a great place to play cricket, and hopefully we give the people back home something to smile about it."

Dwayne Bravo dedicates the win to Everton Weekes, whose birthday it is today. "We gave credit to the Zimbabwe boys on Sunday, and we regrouped as a team and we decided we had to bowl straighter on this wicket. Roach and Best led the way for us, and then Permaul and Narine backed them up really well. I'm really happy to get a chance to lead the West Indies team, but we are looking forward to Darren Sammy coming back for the twenty20s."

Darren Bravo is the man of the match, as expected. What's more, he's also the man of the series for his 172 runs in the series. "It was nice going out there and scoring my first century in the first game, and also to do it in a game we won. I backed my ability, and it was nice to perform for West Indies. We always have a goal for someone to bat through the innings, and I managed to do that today. I just want to apologize to Kieron Pollard for running him out. I probably deprived the crowd of some entertainment! But it's always great to win."

And that's all from me today. Your commentary today was provided by Liam Brickhill, and I'll be back for the Twenty20s this weekend. I hope you'll join me once again! Before you go, don't forget to have a look at Abhishek Purohit's report. Until next time, goodbye!

Mpofu to Ramdin, FOUR runs, and there's the game, Ramdin swivels into a pull to seal the result with a pull down to the fine leg boundary.

Mpofu to Bravo, 1 run, the scores are leveled as Bravo taps the ball down towards point and they set off. The point fielder runs in with Bravo not really rushing to make his ground at the non-striker's end, and a direct hit would've had him!

Chibhabha to Ramdin, no run, a late cut rolls straight to Mpofu at short third man.

Chibhabha to Ramdin, FOUR runs, a slower ball, an offcutter, lands very short and Ramdin puts the long hop away with a hoick over deep midwicket for four.
