Less than 32 overs of play were possible on the fourth and final day between India A and New Zealand A before rain intervened to confirm a draw in Lincoln, leaving the series tied 0-0. It was another day on which the batsmen dominated, with India A captain Abhinav Mukund going on to make an unbeaten century, his first in two A tours this year.
Mukund, who opened in five Tests for India last year, had a torrid time in the Caribbean during the A tour earlier this year, scoring only 46 runs in six innings. In this series, he got a couple of starts in the first match but didn't make a big score in either innings.
India A had stretched their lead to 376 a few minutes before lunch when it started to rain. India A declared on that score, asking the home side to score at 6.44 an over if they wanted to win. Three balls into the second session, though, it began to rain again and the game was abandoned soon after.
