We have enjoyed bringing you this series, and though this match did not produce a result, it had more than its fair share of thrilling moments for Test cricket lovers. This is Abhishek Purohit saying goodbye as India's tour of the Caribbean comes to an end, but there is lots more coming your way from our team. Sid Talya is furiously polishing his match report. Sriram Veera is on the loose on the island of Dominica, and he will have stories from the ground later.

Dhoni collects the series trophy from Lance Gibbs, and the Indian team converge on it. Yet another away series win for this Indian side, and they now head to England for the biggest challenge to their top ranking. West Indies fought back superbly today to salvage a draw from a hopeless situation.

MS Dhoni: "Not disappointed about it. We did well in this game, they batted well actually, we are not disappointed in any way, Harbhajan was getting a bit of spin and bounce and he got valuable wickets, not much help for the fast bowlers, they did well. We were not sure about the wicket. If we go with a 2-2 combination and the track turns out to be flat, that can be a problem. We knew we had bowlers who could spin the all if it started taking turn, like Raina. We were risking a series win going after the target, we realised that it was not worth going for it after those wickets, we gave it a go but we are happy with the series win. It was a good exposure for the youngsters. Really good to see Ishant take responsibility." Not short of words as ever is the India captain, making his point lucidly.

Ishant Sharma is the Man of the Series for his 22 wickets. Ishant: "this is my first series where I took the highest wickets. It's kind of an Indian track, slow and flat, but you have to put in the effort as these things are beyond your control. I am pretty confident about myself, looking forward to England."

Shiv Chanderpaul is Man of the Match. Shiv: "Whole series I was getting out in 20s and 30s, very happy to carry on past the three-figure mark. It's at the back of my mind it has been happening for a while now. It's always an honour (becoming the most capped Test cricketer for Windies), just shows what hard work can do for you."

Darren Sammy: "Very pleased with the result. Thanks to the Dominica public for coming out, we thought it was a Twenty20, the Caribbean people still love us, We were a bowler short and to come back and draw is great. Shiv proved he is still one of our better batsmen. Dropped catches do happen in cricket, but we have not scored too many runs in this series. As long as everybody gets on board with the coach, I am happy. I was surprised (that they shut shop after the third wicket fell)."

Hang on for the series presentation

ananth: "Shame on India. Black day for cricket." A comment that aptly captures the prevailing mood among the away series winners' fans

chirag: "Ohh god. Being in the generation of T20's,calling off a test match needing 86 runs off 90 balls looks crazy to me." At least the format is still being played in this age.

West Indies take a lap around the ground to loud cheers. The crowds turned up today to witness a fighting draw from the home side. Consecutive series wins for India in the Caribbean though, and but for rain in the last two Tests, they would have made a clean sweep of the series. Lots of predictable feedback criticising India for not going for the win, but there was no need to risk blowing away a 1-0 lead after having lost those three wickets.

At the start of the day, with 81 runs in the lead and only four wickets standing, West Indies didn't seem to have much hope but it was that man Shiv Chanderpaul, India could not dismiss him at all, Fidel joined Shiv to frustrate the Indians and it was that stand that consumed 37 overs and ensured India would not go hard at their target of 180 after losing some wickets

And that will be it as the match has been called off. Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman walk off for the last time in a Test in the West Indies. Handshakes all around.

Kalyan: "I've always had an internal debate about negative line bowling...on one side I know its a clever strategy to frustrate the batsmen, but on the other side I feel its an insult to the gentleman's game! Never been able to find an answer to this!!"
