Who'd have thought the dead rubber would turn out to be the most exciting match of the series? The game swung from one team to the other, both sides scrapping hard for the advantage. Bangladesh looked in trouble when Shakib got out at 105 but Mahmudullah and Naeem brought them back with a fighting partnership. Zimbabwe seized the upper hand again by taking four wickets for 13 runs, but a memorable innings from Naeem sealed the victory for the home side. They are going to be talking about those three consecutive sixes for a long time in Chittagong.

Post-match presentation

Hamilton Masakadza "I thought we couldn't control the game today though Brendan Taylor scored a century in the morning. I thought the guys fought hard, tried hard but that one over which went for 18-20 runs changed things. We have picked up a lot on this tour, we should improve from here. The crowds have been really great both here and in Dhaka."

The Man of the Match is, unsurprisingly, Naeem Islam. "Yeah, I really enjoyed the innings. When me and Riyad were batting, we thought if we continue like this we will win easily. Even after his wicket, Tamim was there so I thought we could win. Right till the end I never thought we would lose."

The Man of the Series is Abdur Razzak for his 15 wickets. "It's really important that the team also does well. If I do well, and the team doesn't that is not satisfying. This game was a little tight, Naeem did a very good job, Nazmul as well. We have domestic cricket coming up, which we have to play so there's no rest."

Shakib Al Hasan "Naeem played really well. Some of our guys had the confidence that if we had a good over Naeem could do it. We need to take some responsibility, especially our top order and middle order because our bowlers did very well through the series. Both Chittagong and Dhaka crowds have been excellent."

Shakib holds the trophy aloft after Bangladesh pull off a convincing 4-1 series victory.
