Commentary

Mahmudullah didn't take long to finish the proceedings but the chase was set up by an awesome innings by Tamim Iqbal, who took few risks in his career-best 154. The Bangladesh players race to the ground to grab the stumps, they paced their chase superbly but spare a thought for Charles Coventry who booked his name in the record books with a marvelous, unbeaten 194 earlier in the day.

The Bangladesh openers laid the foundation for a successful chase with a fluent opening stand, but once Ashraful fell, things had evened out. However, Tamim, who, until then, had relied largely on working the ball around, opened up, taking Waller for 18 in an over which undid any earlier damage. He was supported superbly by Raqibul, and then by a steady Mushfiqur. However, he was dropped at a crucial stage in the innings by Chigumbura and though he fell later with 33 still to get, Mahmudullah eased any nerves with a pacy innings to hasten the end.

I suspect both Tamim and Coventry will be named joint winners for Man of Match, hold fire, we'll get you the presentation details in just a bit.

Prosper Utseya: "312 wasn't enough. But our game is improving. We're playing international cricket and those missed chances should have been taken. 3-2 sounds better than 4-1 and we need to come back strong and play well for the fans."

Shakib: "Tamim batted magnificently, can't get better than that. We played very good cricket against West Indies and this series too, everyone chipped in but we need to improve our fielding. Cricket is now the most popular game in Bangladesh and we thank out fans for their support."

The commentators have decided that Coventry and Tamim are joint winners of Man of the Match, as widely suspected.

Tamim: "I was due for a big innings. I was getting good starts but not big hundreds. It would have felt better had I finished the innings."

Coventry: "Well done to the Bangladeshis for the way they chased. We'll be out there trying the hardest the next time. I've been under strict instructions from the doc, so no beers tonight," he says with a big smile.

That's all we have from here folks. We've had a cracker of a game with two absolutely memorable innings. Hope you enjoyed it and do join us again for the final ODI on Tuesday. Until then, on behalf of everyone at Cricinfo, it's Sid Talya signing off from the commentary along with R Gopi on the scoring desk. Until next time, take care and be well. Adios!

Mupariwa to Mahmudullah, FOUR runs, that seals it, slower one bowled full, he drills it down the ground past the bowler to the boundary to seal the series for Bangladesh

The camera just panned to a rather disappointed Coventry

Mupariwa to Mahmudullah, FOUR runs, faint tickle takes it all the way to the boundary, full outside leg stump, it's criminal to be bowling that line at this stage of the innings, just had to get his bat to it and the outfield did the rest

Mupariwa to Mahmudullah, no run, held back the length this time, slower one bowled short on middle, defended into the leg side

Mupariwa to Naeem Islam, (no ball) 1 run, ridiculous stuff, full toss on leg stump, above waist high, helped down to fine leg for one more, that's a no-ball for height

Mupariwa to Naeem Islam, 2 runs, poor ball, full toss on middle and leg, picked up over square leg into the deep for a couple of runs, just ten more now

Mupariwa to Naeem Islam, no run, yorker on middle, defended in front of the bowler, calls for a single but is wisely sent back

Mupariwa is back. 12 needed off 18.
