England have staged an excellent comeback after being 1-2 down in the series. Strauss led them by example in Barbados and Flintoff, with his first five-for, took them to their first ODI series win in the Caribbean.

It did seem as though England were short by around 20 runs, especially given the stand between Bopara and Pietersen, but Collingwood and Prior dealt some crucial blows towards the end of their innings to take them to a competitive score.

Their bowlers made up for any slip-ups in the batting by dismissing the West Indian big three - Gayle, Sarwan, and Chanderpaul - cheaply to shut the hosts out of the match. Though Bravo and Pollard did resist, their team was always behind the eight-ball after losing those early wickets and their run-rate having crept up to close to ten-an-over.

Flintoff rounded off things superbly with a hat-trick - the cherry on what was in the end, a fairly convincing win. Do stay tuned, we'll get you the presentation details shortly.

Chris Gayle: "We are disappointed. It is unfortunate to have lost this game but we must give England credit for the way they played. It was a good wicket to bat on, but England bowled well. We have to work as a unit, but I'd like to thank people for their support throughout the series. The Test series win was important, and we got better as we played. We did turn a corner as a team but there is still a long way to go."

Andrew Strauss: "It's been a long hard tour, and to come out as winners is a special feeling. Freddie's had a tough tour and he showed his quality today. That's why he is the best bowler in the world because he can do it well under pressure. We would have liked to have won the Test series, but to get this one-day series helps us gain the momentum. The guys have worked hard and when you do that it feels great to get the desired result."

Andrew Flintoff is the Man of the Match - "Nice way to finish te tour and nice to finish on a high personally. I'm working on the batting, and hopefully there's s good score round the corner. It's been a tough trip, so it was very important to finish on a high. So to get to winning ways with an intensive summer coming up is very important."

Andrew Strauss has been named the Man of the Series for his impressive run of performances in the ODIs. "The fact that I did well in the Tests helped, and I was seeing the ball much better. I hadn't played one-dayers for about a couple of years but it was good to lead by example here."

Well that's all we have from here folks. It's been a pleasure bringing you this entire tour, and we hope you've enjoyed our coverage. From the entire Cricinfo staff in England as well in India, it's goodbye and goodnight. Adios!
