24.1 Clark takes out Smith. No shot offered by the southpaw! What a start for Australia. It landed on the middle and off stump line, Smith moved his front foot forward and horror of horrors shouldered arms. The ball shaped in to rap him dead plumb in front of middle. West Indies are wobbling here. 60/3
7.3 And Clark get his man this time. With a delivery that straightened outside off stump. Parchment stabbed inside the line and got a nick. he was trying to withdraw his bat away. Too late. 22/1
20.6 And he is gone now. Australia strike. Lovely catch from Symonds at covers. Again, Sarwan was squared-up, he was looking to drive across the line to a full delivery on the stumps that straightened. The leading edge flew high to Symonds left, who stretched himself, twisted his body and put out his right hand even though it was to his left and it bobbed up. He quickly turned and cupped it with both palms. The West Indian captain is gone. 55/2
31.5 Lee gets his revenge. Sweet. Full, straight, fast and cutting in from just outside off stump, Morton goes for his booming drive, the bat comes outside the line and the ball strikes him in front of the off. Lee is pumped up. The crowd fall silent. Australia are on the attack here. Lee is mobbed by his team-mates. Morton had hit two fours already in the over, he needn't have gone for another one but I guess, the adrenalin rush took over. 74/4
35.3 Australia surely can't lose this one now? The big wicket. Chanderpaul is out. The crowd are stunned into silence. It was a short of length delivery, Chanderpaul on the shuffle, punches it to straight back to Lee who pouches it. Chanderpaul wanted to play it through mid-on which was left vacant, the bat handle rotated in his hands and he is gone. Lee threw the ball high in the air. Another plan has worked. No mid-on, tempt him to play across the line and wait for a mistake. 82/6
34.6 Clark is on a roll here. What a day he has had. Bravo falls. There was a short straight mid-on in place and would you believe it, Bravo pushes straight to him. It was really full in length, just outside off stump, shaping away a touch, Bravo pushes his drive, bat ahead of the body, fails to keep it down and straight to that man. The plan has worked. Clark is over the moon and so are his team-mates. Fab stuff from them. 80/5
55.5 Run out! MacGill is the unlikely man with the direct hit! low swinging full toss, Ramdin pushes towards mid-on and runs with the stroke. MacGilla moves in, stops, fires a side-arm throw and finds the sticks! Ramdin is short of the crease. Just when West Indies were getting some sort of momentum, Australia strike another blow. 149/7
62.1 End of Sammy's resistance. That man Clark again. A five-for him. Magnificent effort. He got this one to curve in to the right hander, Sammy had thrust his left leg across, too much across and can't get his bat around in time. Dead duck. Trapped in front of the middle. Crafty thinking bowler. 172/8
66.5 MacGill gets his first wicket. Powell stands there for a brief moment before he walks away. It was a loopy flighted one, turning from the middle stump, Powell goes for a drive and the tv replay doesn't show an edge. There must have been sound for the umpire to have given it. Many a time, the replays don't show such edges, we need a snickometer or the hot spot. 191/9
    not out
66.6 Australia have won by 95 runs. Jaggernauth goes for a first-ball duck. It spun in to him, past the bat and bounded off the pad to short leg. No bat there, definitely. Aussies appeal very confidently and Tiffin raised his finger. That's that. Game over. 191/10
