Commentary

Well, what can you say about that? A desperate performance with bat and ball from England, and a clinical, professional response from the Kiwis. Jesse Ryder makes off with a souvenir stump, as well he might, as New Zealand move 2-0 ahead with three matches to come in the series

So, trouble at t'mill for England. They entered this series with high hopes, but their ambitions are now in tatters. For New Zealand, however, spirits have rarely been higher. Extraordinary, really, when you consider the chaos they were in last week. Hope you've enjoyed this massacre, especially if you're a Kiwi. We've been Andrews Miller and McGlashan, join us again on Friday for the potentially decisive third match of the series.

Collingwood to McCullum, FOUR runs, outside off, a step back and across, and a cool slap through the covers wraps up one of England's most humiliating defeats of all time

Sidebottom to McCullum, 1 run, clipped down to third man, and now one boundary would do the trick

1
Sidebottom to Ryder, 1 run, long-hop, pulled firmly and just short of midwicket. New Zealand living dangerously now. As well they might. It would be a shame if these two didn't see them home though

1
Sidebottom to McCullum, 1 run, nudged to gully, an instant call and Ryder was a sitting duck had the shy come in. But Collingwood missed by a mile, appropriately enough

1w
Sidebottom to McCullum, 1 wide, short, wide and ugly. Down the leg side
17.3
1
Sidebottom to Ryder, 1 run, good line and length, but calmly deflected down to third man. Single figures now needed
