Match abandoned without a ball bowled

14:15 update And that's it. The game has been officially called off. The dead-rubber has been abandoned without a ball being bowled. So West Indies win the series 3-1. They now travel to South Africa for a Test and one-day series. Join us for that.

13:20 update It's still raining and the umpires are planning an inspection at 14:15 local time (12:15 GMT). Stay tuned for more then. Looks like a damp end to the series.

12:00 update Rain coming down heavily now. Chances of a start get bleaker and bleaker.

10:30am update: Still no good news from Bulawayo. It's drizzling and one presumes there will be an update only when the rain stops. Two groundsmen on the field with waterproof jackets.

Update It's raining in Bulawayo and the covers are back on. The toss hasn't happened yet so it seems that the start will be delayed. it's raining heavier now. Looks like a long wait.
