12.1 and he strikes first ball! Quick, back of a length delivery outside off stump, to which Atapattu stands and defends, no foot movement, and the ball swings in takes the inside-edge onto off stump 56/4
7.4 gone! A slower ball again, about a half-volley outside off stump, and Jayasuriya drives off the front foot loosely and chips it straight to Ganguly at cover 42/1
9.1 and he's gone! That was a fullish delivery on off stump, and he looks to hit it over the top but didnt even go through with the shot, getting under it instead, and the leading edge goes up, up in the air and settles in Uthappa's hands at cover, Jayawardene fails again 50/2
10.1 gone! Zaheer! Fullish delivery outside off stump, in the slot to be driven, but Sangakkara does so loosely, with little footwork and a raised head, and ends up hitting it in the air to Uthappa at cover, who juggles the take and completes in on the third attempt 52/3

26.2 Uthappa takes a beauty! Full and outside off, driven on the up and it was dropping short of Uthappa at cover who takes a few steps forward and dives to take it inches off the ground. Gets on his feet, takes the cap of his head and bows in a dramatic style, like a performer on stage, to the crowd even as the fielders mob him. Third batsman getting out driving on the up. 124/5
36.2 gone! Quick and short again, Arnold gets back to pull but cant get away with it, getting under it and lofting it down to Sreesanth at a wide long-on, who doesnt have to move much to hold an easy take 165/6
44.2 Zak hits back. Another low full toss but this time Maharoof looped it towards extra cover. Kartik takes the dolly. Good cameo from Maharoof comes to an end as we hurtle further towards the end of the Sri Lankan innings. Remember this is a 47-overs game. 229/7

17.1 OMG! what a way to get out. Sleepwalking to his own demise but what a smart work from Sangakkara. Short and outside off stump, Sehwag frees his arms and it flies down to thirdman. Sehwag walks across. The ball reaches Sangakkara. Sehwag is now very very near the crease. Sangka spots a opportunity, takes out his gloves and fires a throw at the non-striker's end. And what is happening there? Sleepwalking Sehwag has turned just before the crease, his feet on the line, and turns to see what's happening at the other end. The ball flies past him to crash into the furniture! And he is out! Referred upstairs and he is gone! Fab stuff from Sangka! Sehwag was playing so well, looking in control and there he combusts in a bizarre fashion. 118/3

11.6 all over for Uthappa! He failed to control his aggression, getting forward and under a back of a length delivery, and scooping it over the infield and down to the safe hands of Jayasuriya at wide mid-off 92/1
14.1 well held, sir! And well bowled! Fernando drops a good lifter under Karthik's nose, and all he can do is hop and fend for himself, with bat out in front of body, and the leading edge is snapped up by Fernando himself, diving to his left 106/2
