Ireland vs India, 1st T20I at Dublin, Jun 27 2018, India tour of England
7.40pm So, India have brushed aside Ireland to go 1-0 up. Kohli has said that India will continue to experiment with the middle order in the UK. Interesting... Rahul and DK could play on Friday. Thanks for your company and comments. Do come back for that game. Until then, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Varun Shetty and Binoy George. Goodbye and good night
Wilson, Ireland captain: World-class side, aren't they? The two lads had a big opening stand. I did not expect it to spin like it did in the second innings. Credit to them. Possibly, I could have bowled the spinners more. In hindsight, that's always the thing, isn't it? Simi has had a good tour of Netherlands and played spin very well. The way Shannon played was particularly pleasing. Chase and Rankin bowled well at the death.
Kuldeep Yadav, Man of the Match: First trip to UK, and started well. I think the wicket was good to bat on and was turning a bit. The wristspinners get more turn and use variations. Whenever we bowl, me and Chahal talk a lot. Chahal bowled first and said the wicket was slow and asked me to bowl a bit quicker. Yeah, England are playing good cricket and it will be challenging for me. If you're bowling in the right areas and using variations, it will be difficult for any team.
Kohli, India captain: Pretty good and can't complain. We were pretty good with the bat although the last over by Ireland was spot on. Great effort from Rohit and Dhawan. Look, we've already announced we will experiment with the middle order a lot. Even in the next few T20 games, even in England, we will look to throw in guys and surprise the opposition. It presents an opportunity for those lower down the order to go in and bat at the top. In the next games, we will play the guys who din't play today. We're going to give everyone a go in this series. The management and me as captain decided it. There're no mysteries and looking everyone to give game time.
Chahal: Today was good. When I bowled the first over, the ball was turning outside off. I did give away two extra sixes but. This is a good experience and this is my first tour of England Ireland. I had to mix my variations. Mahi

7.15pm That is that in Dublin. India made it look as easy as eating a sandwich. Having been put into bat in their 100th T20I, India blazed away to 208 for 5 on the back of a 160-run partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan - the second highest for India in T20 internationals. Ireland missed no less than three chances in the first innings. India then shelled four chances in the second, but that did not hurt them, as the wristspinners tore up the chase. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed combined figures of 8-1-59-7. The scorecard would have been more embarrassing for Ireland if not for opener James Shannon's punchy fifty. Do stick around for the presentations, which I will bring shortly.

splice-jarring length on middle, hit to the covers
Venkat: "@Rahul Oak, are you serious? He was the one who scored fastest century against the most formidable bowling attack (Aussies). He plays the same brand of cricket, pretty much like Sehwag (but not as good as him though)"

stays leg-side of a full ball outside off and squeezes it to the covers
Rahul Oak: "Hard to know what to make of Dhawan's performances. He usually shows up against the less formidable attacks, and then disappears in testing conditions. Hard to drop in current form, but not someone who inspires confidence as a Test opener in England. "
