So that wraps up the proceedings. Trinidad & Tobago seal the contest, and take the spoils. Well played them, I'm Andrew Miller, and join me again tomorrow when T&T return to action with serious hangovers, to take on England.

And now, here come the Trinidad & Tobago players, up onto the podium, to receive their winner's cheque for US$280,000. Daren Ganga claims the spoils, and declares "I'm thrilled. We've worked hard as a team and this is just reward. Being the champions, we didn't want to disappoint Mr Stanford ..." Certainly not, he's been paying their mortgages ever since they were runners-up of the domestic competition in 2006 ....

Now then, here's Sir Viv to unveil the Man of the Match, who will make off with his own cheque for US$20,000. And the man who makes off with the spoils is Ravi Rampaul for his 4 for 25. Well bowled young man.

Time for the presentation. Sir Allen and Sir Viv are up on the podium, as Shaun Udal trudges up to receive his team's cheque for US$100,000. Some small consolation, but he is "bitterly disappointed. We came here to win, but we were sloppy, no excuses. We were outplayed on the night."

Well played Trinidad & Tobago. They restricted Middlesex to a meagre 117, thanks to a brilliant four-wicket haul from Ravi Rampaul, then paced their chase to perfection - a vital holding role from the captain, Daren Ganga, then a breakout partnership of 67 between Denesh Ramdin and Darren Bravo.

To the victors, the spoils. A cheque of US$280,000 will be winging their way shortly as the podium is wheeled onto the outfield, as Middlesex are left to rue a spate of dropped catches - from Joyce, Morgan and Carter - that left their prospects in tatters

Ramdin goes for the glory shot, and he could have paid the price ... his foot is in the air as Scott whips off the bails, and a matchwinning innings has just been brought to an end. A fantastic knock though, and only a miracle can save Middlesex now
