At any rate, that's all we have from here. Thanks for joining us. Cheers

As expected of IPL interviews, that poor appalling umpiring at a crucial stage of the match wasn't even brought up. I mean they have all the technology available to them. How big should your ego be to not check with the third umpire when a high full toss has been bowled? They check all no-balls when somebody gets out

Quotes from presentation

"No consolation," says David Hussey. "Little bit of improvement needed with the bat. We showed the never-say-attitude, though. Little bit disappointed with my last over. Probably cost us the game."

"I am expecting those guys to do cake ceremony for me," says Rohit Sharma, whose birthday has started. Asad Rauf has already gifted him. "I wanted Mali to come and finish off the game. That's the one thing we always talk about, we want to be the best fielding side in this competition. Even the bowling was good with the dew coming in. I keep it simple: stay still as long as possible and if the ball is there to be hit, hit it."

On another note, were the umpires wary of being booed at Wankhede?

Oh boy. Poor umpiring continues to rule this IPL. What a spirited chase by Punjab. Miller and Praveen Kumar nearly took them home. Kulkarni was one nervous goose in that final over. I don't believe in blaming Hussey for that last over. I mean of course it hurt, but you can't blame it more only because Punjab came so close. Of course if the target was smaller, Mumbai and Punjab would have approached this differently

another full toss. Is this a poor over or what? However, this time PK doesn't connect well and slices it for a catch to Tendulkar at point. And this time they are checking the height for the no-ball. They could have done this two balls ago too, and carried out justice. However, Kulkarni is fine with this one. And how lucky he is. Any more bat on this, and it was going for four

doesn't matter last ball. Had Kulkarni been taken off, how would PK have got a juicy full toss on the pads to send flying over midwicket. One-handed that too. PK has nearly pulled off a heistan

another beamer. He should be out of the attack. Oh no. They haven't called it. That is chest high. PK has a chat with Asad Rauf. That is a poor call from Rauf. Atrocious umpiring. As is the IPL standard. Not surprised

2
Kulkarni to Praveen, 2 runs

Kulkarni has missed this. Low full toss, dug out towards long-on, they are always running two, but they are both slow. Awana began late. Not to blame Kulkarni, but this is nearly a half-volley for him, and he fails to collect it

Thirteen to get off four. Game still on

another slower bouncer, but this is too high, and it is called a wide

19.2
Kulkarni to Praveen, no run

slower short ball, PK has not picked this at all, and is way early into it, and is beaten

Ranveer: "If KXIP win this, I will do Bhangra in front of 25 lab mates (from China, Poland, Spain, France, Germany, Russia etc) and make them join me !!!"

19.1

gets another full toss, but he has missed out. He has mis-hit it straight to extra cover. Doesn't run for it

beamer, and what's more Tendulkar has misfielded at point. That's three runs without a ball bowled. And Kulkarni is on a warning

Kulkarni it is

Who will bowl? Kulkarni, Ojha and Pollard have overs left. Tendulkar can bowl too. As can Sharma. And Smith

defended solidly to cover, PK declines the single. Seventeen to get off the last over. Only one wicket in hand. He might have to do this in boundaries

Can Awana play this out?

what a hit. Gayle has never hit Malinga for a six in the IPL, but PK has. Makes room, and this time he gets a full ball to get under, and lofts him over long-off

Akshay Bhatnagar: "26 more needed and Miller gone. Hussey would now realize how critical that final over was."

Johnson to Miller, OUT

hardly ever seen Tendulkar celebrate a catch that way. Full and straight, Miller makes room to go over cover, but ends up slicing it. It is swerving away, Tendulkar covers that swerve well and takes the catch. But wait for the reaction. He looks skywards, and keeps clinching his fists for a while before letting the ball go in half anger

Miller is setting up a thriller. Length ball again. Miller stands tall and steady. And lofts it over wide long-on for six. Clean as a whistle

slower ball, this time he bunts it sufficiently wide of cover to take the single

17.2
4

oh what a hit. Forget the single. PK has smacked this. Makes room, gets beside a short ball, and smacks this over cover

17.1
Johnson to Praveen, no run

PK wants the single after defending off the back foot, but he has played this straight to short cover

Miller can still win this for KXIP. Somebody needs to hang around with him, though
