Full commentary

That's all we have from commentary. Thank you for joining us, appreciated the company and your comments. Do stay turned to the site for the report and further analysis. I'm going to shut up now.

Quinton de Kock is the Man of the Match. "Hoping for one of these days to come. Good wicket, had to capitalise when I could. Just said good cricket shots will get us the score. Fast outfield. Didn't have to hit the big shots. One or two sixes were needed. When Karun came in, the plan was to build a partnership, we knew the boundary balls will come. Just dig deep and bat. Been waiting for a chance like this, haven't really been in this type of form, just happy about it"

"Special effort by Quinton and Karun. We knew this ground was high-scoring, but amazing the way they applied themselves in the middle," Zaheer Khan says, "Special mention for Morris and Shami, very important at that stage,. We modified our plans in the game situation and thanks to that we had a good chance of chasing down the total. My bad over helped me figure out what will work. Just told them bowl back of a length. We wanted early wickets, RCB is top-heavy, at one point I was wondering if getting Gayle out was good. Guys showed great chararcter. Tournament like IPL, momentum helps, these kinds of games matter. We ticked a box and now we have three four days off

"Tough to swallow. Could have been much closer in the end. Delhi batted well. Quinton de Kock was brilliant. Karun hung in there. I didn't get strike after Watson got out for eight balls. Shami and Morris executed their plans. It was tough to get the ball away, we thought it was twq-paced wicket. No one stepped up today with the ball, It happens in cricket," Kohli says. "Mindset with the ball, We need to believe we can get the batsman out every ball. If a batsman senses that, senses you are reluctant, he can get on top of you"

11.35 pm This is Daredevils' first win over RCB since April 2010 and haven't they done it in style. De Kock receives pats on the back from everyone in Bangalore it seems. Zaheer was running around accepting congratulations as well. This batting performance was exactly what they needed. They said they saw de Kock as a senior in the side now. He's 23, but he is already one of the bigger players in the South African side. Showed exactly why tonight. Seven dot balls in his 51-ball 108. Played to his strengths - 23 runs behind point and 18 runs behind square leg. Karun Nari's 54 off 42 balls cannot be underestimated either. But remember the squeeze Daredevils bowlers put in the end? RCB only got 27 runs in the last four overs bowled by Shami and Morris.

Raushan Kumar: "Out of 11 matches in this IPL, chaser have won 10 times. Similar things happened in world cup when strong teams had been playing . Did chasing targets become easy??"

Tuhinanshu: "KXIP and DD, both winning their matches today and hence keeping IPL 2016 open and interesting one :)"

Chahal to Duminy, 1 run

that's a little bit of comedy to finish things off. He pushes it down the ground, Yuzi dives across and fields it himself. At that point, Nair was hurtling down for the single. Yuzi backflicks looking to hit the target, doesn't and the overthrow is taken

One off six needed. Chahal to bowl

Watson to Duminy, 1 leg bye

shortish and slow and on off stump, JP shuffles across for a flick through leg. Has to settle for a leg bye, which levels the scores!

Watson to Duminy, 2 runs

low full toss on off stump, JP skews it off the open face past point and gets the couple he wanted

Watson to Duminy, FOUR runs

shortish and outside off, punched through the covers. Daredevils doing this easily now

18.3
Watson to Duminy, no run

back of a length on off stump, defended to point

JP Duminy's in. The crowd still chant "RCB!" Required run rate less than a run a ball now

Watson to de Kock, OUT

he wont be there to finish the game. Watson does not celebrate. He simply offers applause to a fine innings. Goes up to de Kock as he walks away with a nod of the head. It was slower short ball, dug in and rising towards his shoulder, the batsman swings instinctively. The pull shot only takes the glove and goes to the keeper

Wiese to de Kock, FOUR runs

this is turning into a party for de Kock! This was full and around the stumps, he clears his front leg and scythes it through the covers. All along the ground.

Wiese to de Kock, FOUR runs

that's a slog, not often has he played that shot. Takes a thick edge and flies away over the keeper

Wiese to de Kock, 1 wide

loops a full toss way wide of off stump, de kock can't reach it with his cut

Ebad: "This innings of De Kock shows what class he has and that his age doesn't matter."

fuller ball outside off, laced into the covers. Direct hit could have had him, but there wasn't one

17.3
1
Wiese to de Kock, 1 run

off comes the helmet and a fairly subdued raise of the bat. The shot epitomises his innings today. So many runs behind square. This was short and wide, sliced away. A little smile of satisfaction when he sees the standing ovation from the dugout

17.2
1
Wiese to Nair, 1 run

low full toss, lofted to long-off. No timing on the shot, immediately asks for a new bat

17.1

shortish slower ball outside off, Nair flays at it and gets a thick inside edge back at the bowler

Siddharth: "The disappointment on Kohli's face reminds me similarity of this match to Ind-WI semifinals. Kohli scores big, team gets to 190+, falling short by 10-15runs. Other team loses early wickets, but bowlers can't contain the batsmen thereafter. Deja vu for Kohli!"

Harshal to de Kock, FOUR runs

moves to 99 and punches gloves with his partner. De Kock's looking like he is the boss out there. He premeditated a scoop, but when the bowler bowled short and slow, he slipped into a pull shot over the short fine leg fielder

aka: "If you hid batsmen name, and asked who are playing, most would guess Kohli and ADB. No difference between 2 innings here."

16.5
1
Harshal to Nair, 1 run

slower ball tailing into the pads, Nair places it behind square leg with a deft touch and yet the ball scurries away

16.4
Harshal to Nair, no run
