Steve from Australia on the IPL: "One of the best things for me is to see how well these players get along when playing together, especially after so much trouble over the summer. It lets us see the more human side of the players and how they really enjoy playing the game of cricket, no matter whether they are playing for the country or an IPL team. I suppose it's a lesson for all of us, that cricket is just a game and you should enjoy it."

I will take leave of you on that note. This is Sriram Veera, your commentator for this game, saying Alvida! bye. Join Jamie Alter, who has already started the commentary of the next game - Mumbai Indians v Royal Challengers. Ta!

Ojha to Hussey, SIX runs

Game over! David Hussey has done it. Flighted one, on the stumps and Hussey murdered it straight over the bowler's head and it kept flying into the horizon. The Eden Gardens erupts. The Knight Riders are on a roll here in this tournament. What a dramatic nail-biting game we have had this evening. Easily, the best of the tournament so far. And we are just into the fourth game of the IPL. Hopefully, more such drama awaits us.

Ojha to Hussey, no run

loopy flighted one on the middle and leg, Hussey tries to work it to the leg side, gets a leading edge to covers. he sets off for a run, Symonds rushes to his left, swoops and flicks it to Gilly. Had it been a direct hit, Hussey would have got out. It was refered upstairs and the crowd shout a cry of relief as NOT OUT comes on the board.

And a glance to fine leg now. Surely, now, the Knight Riders can't lose this. It was on the middle and leg, Hussey shuffled across and glided it fine. Very fine. The crowd are up on their feet and the decibels level is crazy

Styris to Hussey, SIX runs

Whoa! A stunning hit from David Hussey. Is it the game? Full, straight, the left leg was taken out of the line and a fierce swing saw the white ball fly over long-on. What a crucial hit that. The younger brother of Mike Hussey, the hero last night, is turning it on here. The family back home must be loving it.

Styris to Hussey, no run

almost bowled by the slower one! Hussey charged out and had a mighty heave, missed and it just went over the bails

Styris to Shukla, 1 leg bye

oh more drama. He went for a paddle sweep, top edged a full toss outside off on to his body and the ball rolled down the track. Styris rushed across, so did the batsman and they collide! Styris says he was within his rights to stay on the wicket and the batsman had to run around him. Phew!

7:27 pm The lights are back and the game will start at 7:35 pm. No reduction in overs. So no D/L here.

Interesting fact If the game doesn't continue - we have no reason to believe that - the D/L tables suggest that this would be a tie! Immense fun!

7:24 pm Some lights are coming on. Farukh Engineer, the match referee is out there, assesing the situation. Laxman is in a discussion with RP. More bulbs power up.

Update 7:15pm: Still no light. The players are near the boundary line and Laxman is involved in an animated chat with the match referee Farokh Engineer.

Still no play. Jeet writes in, "Its Lights! action camera .... in SRK land."

Hello! The lights at one tower has gone off here at the Eden Gardens. What drama! What a night we are having. A brute of a track has made for some riveting action in the middle and now this. Play held up. The Deccan Chargers get in a huddle, the two batsmen get together even as the stadium is plunged in semi-darkness.

Ojha to Hafeez, OUT

The reverse sweep goes awry. He went for a fierce reverse slap but top edged it over covers and Symonds took it running back. Hafeez was playing an counter-attacking game and thought he could get away with the reverse sweep but ...
