Mumbai's mediumpacers mixed things nicely on a two-paced track to shot out the Royals for a paltry 103 before the batsmen sealed a clinical win with some sensible batting. If any minor miracle had to happen, it had to come from the magician but Warne brought himself rather late, pulled himself out after just a over and by the time he brought himself back, the game was over.

Uthappa: "We knew we just had to play 20 overs and we would win. Our bowling has been very good in the last few games, our batting was not up to the mark in the initial stage but now we are doing the job. I love it here. I feel like a Mumbai boy now. The boys are enjoying every win. "

Hang on. We will bring the post-match ceremony.

Shane Warne: "It was bit disappointing. I thought the intensity of Mumbai Indians was fantastic and we couldn't match it early. The wicket was bit up and down but it was not a 100-run wicket. 140 or 150. We didn't stick to the basics; we went across the line too much.

Pollock: "We didn't get off to a great start but we have bounced back now. Tendulkar is close to playing and we hope he pulls of some big knocks in the second half of the tournament. Things went our way in this game. We have started to pick up some good vibes and the boys are doing well. It's a pity that we have a seven-day break now, we just want to keep going on!

Man of the Match: Nehra : "It wasn't only me , all the bowlers did a great job. It was difficult last year and half but I have worked hard on my fitness. So far its going good for me here. Today, I was just trying to keep my bowling simple. Just wicket to wicket. Shaun bowled great and the young bowlers Kulkarni and Raje bowled brillantly.

That's it from us. Thanks for logging on. Alvida!

Nayar is a feisty player. Once, this Ranji season, he hit Kumble for three consecutive boundaries, and had Kumble saying to him, "So you think you are Klusener?" He just smiled and proceeded to hit him again.

Warne' decision to use Trivedi instead of himself has hastened the end. You would have thought he would have bowled himself.
