What a fightback this has been by Deccan. They had been languishing in the bottom two of the table after suffering five consecutive losses, and they have won five in a row to book a place in the final four. An excellent last over by Vaas, but Delhi were let down by their batsmen, especially at the top, who failed to scale down what was a competitive but yet a below-par score on this track. The Delhi bowlers got rid of Andrew Symonds at a crucial stage, and Deccan would have felt they were around 20-25 runs short at the end of their innings. But what they managed proved more than sufficient. Deccan are now at No.2 in the points table.

Unless Kolkata win by an unimaginable margin tomorrow, we have the line-ups ready for the semis. Mumbai will take on Bangalore, and Chennai will take on Deccan. Last year, Deccan won seven and lost as many in the league stages, barely made it to the semis and ended up winning the competition. We'll get you the presentation details in a bit.

Tom: "If Deccan can scrape through and win here, it shapes up to be very similar to their position last year which they went on to win. The likes of Mumbai and RCB may not handle the extra pressure of finals while the experience of Gilly and his Chargers may give them the edge over those sides."

Gambhir: "We would have definitely chased 140, restricting Deccan to that score was a good effort. Whenever we have chased, we've lost early wickets. It's been up and down for us, we just haven't played as a team. We needed to win two out of five and we lost four out of five, we can't afford to be inconsistent. Hopefully next year will be a different story."

Gilchrist: "Outstanding game. It's been like this the whole tournament, great courage from out bowlers and they showed great character. We looked these last five games as a mini tournament in itself, and we have belief in ourselves. Its been a great team effort. Some guys like Symonds and Rohit have been very consistent. Everyone has chipped in their own way. We've managed to finish second, that's a wonderful credit to everyone. We've played a couple of games in Navi Mumbai, and we can take confidence from that. We were just planning game by game."

Andrew Symonds is the Man of the Match: "I was pretty disappointed with the way I got out, and I felt responsible for our score. But am really pleased with the way the boys have picked themselves up. We may not be the most skilful team in the competition but we have a goal. At times we may be a little ugly, but we are effective. We've done well to get into the semi-finals, well done to the boys."

That's all we have from here folks. Thanks for tuning in. The final four have been decided but there is one more league game left before the knockouts. So join us tomorrow for Kolkata v Mumbai. Until then, it's goodbye from all of us at Cricinfo.
