Bangalore were cruising in this chase after Gayle and Kohli tore into Delhi's attack but they lost three quick wickets - Gayle, AB and Kohli - in quick time. Delhi began to fight back but they didn't have enough ammunition in their pace-heavy attack.

"Both DC and DD exemplify the blunder of not picking a strong Indian contingent. Not surprisingly, both are right at the bottom," says Akshay.

VJ: "$1.9M drop by pathan. Now that Delhi has paid 1.9M for irfan, do they feel obliged to play him in each and every match?"

"Spare a though for Hopes. He single handedly try to win the game for Delhi," says Nick.

"I didn't intend to go out there and play like Chris (Gayle)," says Virat Kohli. "We got off to a great start. It just happened."

More flak for Irfan: "Did other teams pay Delhi to bid Pathan for $1.9 millions. This guy can't provide big finish with the bat, can't bowl out his quota of 4 overs properly and drops catches when it matters the most. Someone should remind him that with Torres scoring last weekend the whole world has only one man to criticise and thats him," says Prasad.

I'll have the presentation ceremony for you shortly.

Sehwag: "I think we gave too many boundary balls in the first six overs. Bad bowling. At the end also we didn't bowl well. The ball was not coming on to the bat, they cut a lot of grass, which we didn't want, but we have to carry on with whatever pitch we get. Pressure on Delhi now ..." He ends by thanking the sizeable Kotla crowd for its support.

Vettori: "Probably (left it a bit late). Kohli played an amazing innings. That partnership at the start set it up for us. Delhi fought back hard, fortunate Syed Mohamad came out and played with a cool head .. he's been a good find for us so far. Today was out best bowling performance as well."

Virat Kohli is the Man of the Match. "I've always looked to bat No. 3, I can get myself in and play my shots. I'm loving it," he says. "I was really keen we win this match. We lost three in a row and now winning two back to back gives us some momentum."

The final word on today's game will be Aditi's. "I just feel sorry for poor Irfan. There was a time when no one could get enough of him. I don't think he wants to perform poorly, and it's not his fault DD paid so much money for him- in fact, it just means there was a bidding war over him," she says. "Sehwag had one of these unproductive periods too and Dravid backed him up then. Maybe he's doing the same for Irfan now, and I think that's great for Indian cricket. Also, I miss Irfan's curls. Bring 'em back, I say!"

And on that note, it's time to say good bye, for a few hours at least. Thank you for all your emails. I try and get through as many as I can. Honest. Have a good night.
