Well, it went down to the last ball, but Kings XI held their nerve. Gony got them to 157 and then bowled a tight spell in the chase. It seemed like KKR looked good to win it when Morgan and Gambhir were going strong, but once they fell the middle and lower order slipped up. Kings XI have won two and lost two now, KKR have played five and lost three. We'll get you the presentation details in just a bit.

Revanth: "narine shouldn't have taken the hat-trick for that Gony wouldn't have batted , or probably wouldn't have whacked him for 23 runs !!"

Gambhir: "Me and Morg should have finished the game. This is what this format is all about. It's a great leveller. We need to think, whoever is there needs to finish the game. The two world-class spinners have a lot of tricks up their sleeve. Morgan has been hitting the ball the best, hopefully he'll finish more games for us."

Gilchrist: "I needed to do something after my batting effort [the wicketkeeping]. Manpreet maybe needs to bat at the top of the order after that. He has been terrific. It was a big game, we haven't had the best record here of late."

MS Gony is Man of the Match for his all-round performance: "The wicket was to my liking, I was enjoying my batting, I was looking to hit straight. I want to perform in every game, however many games I get to play. Stretch the boundaries however much you like, I'll still keep hitting sixes."

Good stuff from Gony there, he won the game for Kings Xi after the Narine hat-trick. Thanks for tuning in, folks. There's another game happening, in Bangalore, between RCB and Daredevils. So do tune into that. Goodbye.

Praveen to Narine, no run

full and wide this time, almost yorker length and Narine misses as he goes after that one, dot ball and Kings XI have won

Apologies there, confused Senanayake with Balaji there, Balaji is now at the non-striker's end

1w
Praveen to Narine, 1 wide

Called a wide, five needed to win and four to tie, dropped it really short outside off, was wide and also too high

Last ball, six to win, Narine has no choice, Balaji just walks in. We know Balaji can give it a whack, remember the tour of Pakistan in 2004? That six off Shoaib Akhtar? He's at No.11

Praveen to Senanayake, OUT

nice change of pace there, Senanayake misses, went for the pull, didn't pick the slower ball, missed, just the bye, PK collects near the bowler's end and throws it onto the stumps at the non-striker's end, Senanayake is just short as the bail pops out, run out

Sachithra Senanayake run out (†Gilchrist/Kumar) 1 (2b 0x4 0x6 8m) SR: 50

1
Praveen to Narine, 1 run

slow full toss and Narine slices it towards deep cover for a single, just the single

Achuthan: "This game has had more twists than what an average piece cloth would experience in the hands of a washerman..."

7 off 3 now, Narine to face. The field is back on the off side. Has a word with Mahmood and the bowler does Gilchrist.

8 off 4 now, Narine walks in, the hat-trick hero for KKR

Praveen to Pathan, OUT

low full toss and Yusuf has holed out! Picked it up well reaching forward but found David Miller at deep midwicket, who moved to his left and took an excellent catch under pressure

Awana to Bhatia, OUT

bowled'im, another twist, Awana's celebrating, but after conceding 19. Slower one bowled short outside off, Bhatia tried to drag it through square leg again, gets an inside edge onto the stumps

Mahmood to Das, OUT

KKR are sliding here, Debabrata might be gone, angling in towards middle, gets across to play it into the leg side, is struck on the pads, Taufel gave it out immediately after the Kings XI players went up, struck him in line with middle and leg, that was out

Rejoy: "@Umang: Gambhir is supposed to be an opener who provides a good start & platform for the middle order to build on. He does that consistently, especially in the IPL. He is not supposed to be a finisher. He needs support from others, which he isn't getting."
