Day 4

10.05 am Good morning and welcome to the 4th day of the ICC Intercontinental Cup match between Scotland and Kenya. It is not raining and the sun is out but I am sorry to say that play has been canceled for today due to very heavy overnight rain leaving casual water on the outfield. That means the match is abandoned with 10 points for each team. Hopefully you can join me next week at Cambusdoon in Ayr for two ODI's between the two sides on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th.

Day 3

12.35 Due to the overnight and morning rain and the present condition of the pitch play has been canceled for the day. Hopefully weather conditions improve to allow for some play tomorrow.

11.00 am The rain here has slowed down to a drizzle and the forecast is for things to get better this afternoon. Both teams will want to get out and play some cricket as soon as possible but it is still very damp out there. More updates on the pitch condition and the possibilities of play to come soon.

10.15 am Good morning all and welcome to the third day of this ICC Intercontinental Cup match between Scotland and Kenya with me Callum Stewart.

I am sorry to say that it has been raining for most of the morning and it is still raining here at Titwood and the covers are on the wicket and the sheets are on the square.

Day 2

2.00 pm Still no sun here at Titwood. The umpires say that the wicket would be playable for your average Saturday league game but it is too damp for international standards.

12.30 pm News from the square is that the wicket is still too damp to constitute any play starting soon with another inspection due at 1.00pm with play possible up until 7.00pm this evening.

12.00 am Due to the fact that the sun has gone away there has been no improvement in the condition of the wicket, with no play looking likely in the near future but we will keep you informed.

11.30 am No improvements in the state of play im afraid and the groundstaffs are still working on the wicket with all their tools and the sun has now gone away which doesn't help matters...

11.00 am A pitch inspection is due by the umpires and the groundstaff are scrutinising the wicket. Several of the Scotland players are playing football on the adjacent astro-turf pitch while the Kenyans are mostly relaxing in the pavilion.

10.20 am Good morning and welcome to our coverage of the ICC Intercontinental Cup match between Scotland and Kenya. After about 40 hours of non-stop rain during the week the square was under a lot of water yesterday and the ground unfit for play.

A great effort by the groundstaff yesterday and this morning has cleared the ground up but the wicket is still very damp and play will not start on time today and the umpires will be inspecting the pitch every hour on the hour.

The sun is out and shining just now and will hopefully dry up the wicket for some play this afternoon with time available up until 7.00pm this evening.
