The Port Elizabeth crowd is satisfied after a run-fest in which their side prevailed. Jamie How and Kieran Noema-Barnett will be gutted that their superb batting effort went in vain but despite missing some of their big hitters, it is their bowling that has left Central Districts down for much of the tournament.

Elaborator clearly isn't a Bracewell fan. This is one of his comments about the bowler: "Bracewell ruined it. Did you notice that he has an overall "economy" rate of 10+??". Elmo Leon shares this unrelated insight: "Piranha 3D is an awesome movie!"

Numan from India pointed out midway through the chase: "CD are paying for not having quality spinners on their side. It was Botha and Boje who stalled CD innings in that middle period and that's going to be the difference between the two teams."

Ravi: "Teams that have done well so far (Redbacks and Warriors) have had their openers in great form. It will be interesting to see how they perform when their openers fail."

Post-match presentation:

Brilliant stuff, Simon Doull calls on Davey Jacobs for 'Platinum highest run-scorer of the day' or something, Davey shakes hands with a dignitary before being told the award actually goes to Jamie How. Davey isn't amused.

How: "We had a competitive score. The bowlers tried hard, we came up against some good batters, we have some young boys, they are learning from this. Last match will be important for us to leave on a winning note."

Jacobs is placated with a Man of the Match award.

Jacobs: "We let ourselves down a bit in the field, to chase this down was very satisfying. Nicky and Johan are quality. It is perfect start, first three games."

So, the Warriors keep on winning and Central Districts keep on losing. One person seems as disappointed as Central Districts with this match.Vinit Bhandari says: "Why did Jacobs have to get out on 74? One more run and I would have got 80 extra points on cricinfo fantasy !!!"
