Quotes from presentation

Haddin is also the Man of the Match. I would have assumed it would be one of the bowlers, but then again this is not their game

"We had a few things we needed to work on after the first game," says Brad Haddin. "The best thing about the three fast bowlers was they bowled differently, presenting different challenges to the batsmen. I am pretty lucky they are all looking to have a go. Still got to get better and better as the tournament goes on."

"150-160 would have been a good score," says Andrew Gale. "But we didn't get off to a good start, and we were chasing the game from thereon. We have learned valuable lessons from today, have three games left, and will hopefully reverse the result on Thursday."

So Sixers have won this with 67 balls to spare. That's a pasting if ever there was one. And with two wins and this massive net run rate boost, they are all but through to the semi-final. Yorkshire were clearly not in the same league today. The pace, bounce and movement the Sydney bowlers extracted was too much for Yorkshire, and when you end up with 96 on a good wicket, the game is almost over at the break

"Are Yorkshire trying to make Haddin look good by bowling offside half volleys in an effort to bring him back to the Australia side at the expense of the much more promising Matthew Wade?" Ah Tim, the good old days of state/county sides softening up international opposition?
