Davids helps Titans stroll to win

Group B might still be the more open of the two groups, but Titans gave their chances of progressing quite a boost with a thumping victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Ranchi

So that is all we have for you, but remember, there is another game due to start in a few minutes' time and the post-match coverage for this one as well. So hope to see you all there. Take care, folks

Henry Davids is the Man of the Match. "We got it right, right from the toss. We could have bowled better at the start, but David Wiese pulled the game back for us. We got Dhawan and Parthiv quickly and from then on kept things tight and we were very patient and showed a lot of guts out in the middle. It worked out well for me, I try to give myself a couple of balls to get in and then play attacking cricket"

Jacques Rudolph said he enjoyed playing with Davids and on a personal level, he was happy to stay there in the end. He wasn't too worried about missing a fifty, saying net run rate could come into play. He commended his side for assessing the conditions quickly. On a sticky wicket, he would have preferred to chase a total around 135 but said they had put up a very good performance

Shikhar Dhawan says the top-order began well but none of them, including him could carry on and make a big score. They had also lost three-four wickets in a short period, which didn't help their cause. The short ball was another problem, especially for the Indian batsmen. He wanted the local batsmen needed to stand up and that they would work on that aspect and come back stronger

7.06pm So a captain's innings sets up a comfortable victory for Titans. But let's not forget Jacques Rudolph in all this. He carried his bat and his unbeaten 49 was as important as Davids' quickfire fifty. Both batsmen used their feet wonderfully well, and when the bowlers pitched short, even the pace of Dale Steyn, was not good enough to stop the openers from punishing pull shots. All in all, it was a clinical win. Do stay with us for the presentation

vishwa: "I would say dhawan's captaincy is definetly one of the reasons for their poor show in this tournament. He has over used perera and really under used mishra and karan sharma. White was lot better captain than dhawan."

Perera to Kuhn, FOUR runs, and a pulled four off a full toss finishes things off. Perera wafts up a gift and Kuhn nails it through midwicket to signal Titans' second win of the CLT20

Perera to Rudolph, 1 run, fuller and just outside off as Rudolph squirts it down the ground to long-off

Perera to Kuhn, 1 run, slower ball again, back of the hand and it deceived the batsman enough to force his drive to go off the bottom of the bat down the ground

END OF OVER:

Steyn to Rudolph, no run, bounder to Rudolph this time, who wanted to ramp it over the top of the keeper and get to the boundary that will give him his fifty, but the ball is too quick

Steyn to Kuhn, 1 run, goes back and works this good length ball on the stumps into midwicket to get off strike
