It's only the third time that both teams have posted 300 in an ODI in England. What a run-fest this was. Tendulkar hit a strokeful 99 before Dravid shone with a sparkling 63-ball 92 to lift India to 329. England got off to a flier but were slowed down by the spinners - Piyush Chawla and Ramesh Powar - in the middle overs. Mascarenhas biffed a 39-ball 52 but could not get them home. The series stands tied 1-1 with five matches to go.

India have won. It was full and outside off, Broad shuffled across and attempts another heave but doesn't connect.

Patel to Broad, FOUR runs

Another lemon cut. Another boundary. England now need 10 to win from one ball. Will Munaf bowl a no ball?

6
Patel to Broad, SIX runs

20 from 3 and what does Broad do. Smokes a full toss on the off stump over long off. The crowd roar their approval

49.3
Patel to Broad, no run

shuffles right across the stumps, attempts a big heave across the line but can't connect

Patel to Broad, FOUR runs

Ah! The lemon cut. It was full in length, outside off, Broad tries to drill it through cover, gets a inside-edge and it runs to fine leg boundary.

6
Patel to Broad, SIX runs

Short of length, on the leg stump and Broad tonks it over deep midwicket. Powar runs back, catches it and tries to flick it back in but he has already gone beyond the ropes. The crowd love it.

Singh to AD Mascarenhas, OUT

Mascarenhas's breezy cameo ends. Death by aggression. He tries to pull a short-of-length delivery over midwicket but ends up lobbing it to midwicket. And then they were two.

bouncer that sails harmlessly down the leg side. Dhoni does well to gather it

48.3

Singh to AD Mascarenhas, 1 run

low full toss, swatted past midwicket. The ball made contact with the bottom-half of the bat and hence doesn't travel far

48.2
Singh to AD Mascarenhas, no run

lands on a length, outside off, tries to flat-bat it and gets a inner edge, along the ground, to the 'keeper

Singh to AD Mascarenhas, FOUR runs

backs to the leg side, RP Singh follows him with a short of length delivery but Mascarenhas twists his body and manages to short-arm jab it to square leg boundary. That's fifty for Mascarenhas. It has been pretty entertaining.

Agarkar to AD Mascarenhas, 1 bye

Another short-pitched stuff, outside the off stump and Mascarenhas doesn't connect again but they rush across for a single. Dhoni had gathered it but they still get across in time. Broad had rushed out as soon as Agarkar had delivered.

47.5
Agarkar to AD Mascarenhas, no run

serves up a bouncer and Mascarenhas can't connect with his pull shot.

47.2
6
Agarkar to AD Mascarenhas, SIX runs

That's six no. 5 and it lands on the roof at wide long on. That was some hit. It was a slower delivery but Mascarenhas picked it up early, waited before smoking it high over the boundary ropes. That one kept travelling.

47.1
Agarkar to AD Mascarenhas, no run

full and outside off, again delivered with a round-arm action, and the almost yorker-length beats the intended heave

England need 47 from 18 balls.
