9.30 pm So, that was thrilling, wasn't it? I don't really know what more to say about this match either so I'll let the report do that for me. This is Alagappan Muthu, signing off after a very easy comms stint

"We bowled really well," says Dinesh Chandimal, "Angelo gave a good start and Malinga and Ajantha finished it off. I'm very happy. We won't be underestimating any team. We have two more games and we're keeping our fingers crossed to win them as well. Happy with Dilshan getting a few runs. Hope he continues throughout the series"

"Let a few people down. It was just us representing the Associates and we've got to do a lot better," says Peter Borren. "Everything was a bit of a rush. It's not the first time the top-order has played at this level and it's not been this bad. Obviously Myburgh was going to play that way, but down the order it was quite bad. It was always going to be a struggle for the lower order against Mendis and Malinga. Surprised by the result, not something we saw coming but we have three more chances. The guys up in the dressing room are very embarrassed and hopefully we can show you guys in the next few games of what we can really do. We're constantly striving for more fixtures and more funding and this sort of performance doesn't help. It's gonna have to improve, I don't really know what else to say"

Angelo Mathews is the Man of the Match "Pitch was a little two paced and all the bowlers came into the party. Landed it on the correct spot and build the pressure and that's what I did. Regardless of being captain or not, I have to give my 100% and that's what I do. The bowling has been pretty good in the recent past. We just want to keep winning and see what happens"

9.20 pm Not too many would have pegged the match to be done so soon, but that's our reality here. Sri Lanka have taken a resounding victory and with the boost it gives their net-run rate, they might well eye a spot in the semi-final. Netherlands were spirited with the ball and their fielding was eye-catching, and most of it was in the good way. But 40 would never ever have been a defendable total

Daniel Alexander: "Ordered Pizza after the toss to enjoy the match, Pizza guy is here but the match is over "

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, 1 run, opens the blade and slices a length ball into the cover and a misfield gives up the run necessary to produced the biggest win in terms of balls to spare in T20s

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, (no ball) FOUR runs, 141kph, another very good short ball as he gets good height outside off. Mahela goes for the hook and gets a top-edge that sails to the boundary behind him. Also a no-ball for height

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, no run, dropped and that's a dolly too! Bukhari was at mid-on and Mahela picked him out with a loft off a fuller ball

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, FOUR runs, on the pads and he's glanced it to the fine leg boundary. it was the attempted slower ball gone wrong. Slid it onto his pads too much and Mahela has built his reputation with strokes like that

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, no run, dug in short and this has some pace behind it too. Mahela backed away to cut over point. Doesn't connect

Vamsi: "Aaahhh....For the love of God can people stop talking about the bad day the Dutch have...it could have been any team....one bad day and people tend to forget the sheer hard work the associate teams put up to reach this level.....My dutch friends I am with you...it is just one off day....you will come back with more fighting tommorow..."

van der Gugten to Jayawardene, no run, bit of width and Mahela slaps it straight to extra cover
