12.6 the party is over, but has he made an impact or what? This one was tossed up again, he backed himself to loft it over the bowler's head but didn't generate the kind of power as he would have liked, got it a little too high on the bat as the long on fielder ran across to his left to take that without too much hassle. 107/2
2.5 this time, the third man, who was square, has come into the picture. It was short and wide, should have been clattered over point. But Noor Ali slashed too hard, only managed a thick edge which carried to Davey, who caught it well. He had to run in a couple of paces from the ropes, and he did it without a fuss. That should boost Scotland, for it was turning out to be an aggressive start from Afghanistan 25/1

15.6 outstanding catch! Machan was running in from the ropes at wide long-on, Gulbadin looked to lift it with the angle over, but didn't generate enough power. The fielder had to watch out for his momentum as it could have easily taken him forward, but he stopped at the right moment, then dived forward to complete the catch. The best thing about the catch was he was aware of his elbows hitting the ground and adjusted well to ensure the ball didn't bobble out 128/3
17.1 hit straight down the ground, so hard that it smashes into the stumps at the bowler's end and deflects towards the bowler, who quickly changes track on his followthrough to run towards the stumps and uproot it. Nabi was halfway down the pitch when he turned back, there was no way he would have made it back. Excellent match awareness from Evans, Nabi didn't expect it to go back onto the stumps 133/4
19.1 presence of mind from the bowler as he fires it full and down leg even as the batsman walks across to scoop, the non-striker had completed an entire run, only to see the Stanikzai stay put. Keeper hurls a throw to the bowler, who takes the bails off 158/5

9.1 that's as plumb as it can get. This one was a fast leg-cutter that pitched on middle and off, he looked to sweep, but was better off playing straight. Once he was hit on the pad, there was little doubt as to what the umpire's decision was going to be. He raised the finger in a jiffy. Afghanistan are back into this. 85/2
8.5 a lollipop delivery has given them a wicket. It was too short, he looked to pull but didn't get hold of it and found the only man at the boundary, at deep square leg. He takes a dolly. Should come as major relief for Afghanistan 84/1
10.1 how unfortunate is that? This was drilled into the gap at deep extra cover, but MacLeod slipped as he turned for the second. But there was a glimmer of hope as the throw from the deep came to the wrong end. The bowler nearly had a shy at the stumps, but lobbed a throw to the keeper in the end, Shahzad, who was yelling to get the ball, wasn't going to miss it as he knocks the bails off. Big moment in the match? Three gone in quick time 95/3
18.5 swung across the line, can only slice it to the point fielder. The pressure has got to him, he simply had to tee off. Afghanistan wold believe they are into the home stretch. Industrious innings, but couldn't bring out the big hits when he had to 149/5
12.4 mighty quick stumping, but was the back foot plonked back in time when the bails came off? It was nicely tossed up wrong-un, he stepped out and then looked to sweep, missed it completely as the keeper removed the bails. The back foot was at least a metre outside the crease, and it was too late by the time he tried to drag it back. He's made up for the lapse in the previous over. Afghanistan continue to make inroads after that strong start. 108/4
