Scorecard summary
England Women 115/8(20 overs)
West Indies Women 117/6(19.3 overs)

7.05pm: What a game that was. Time for me to go and wrap it! The second match of the day, between South Africa and Bangladesh, will be underway shortly, and then we'll be back for more next week when the tournament enters the knockout stage. Bye-bye until then!

7pm: A word from the captains, starting with England's Heather Knight: "Great game of cricket, the support has been amazing, great atmosphere. Not the right result but a great day. With the bat, Sophia and Anya fought hard but we lost a few too many, soft dismissals, but a few things to sharpen up before the semis. [Batting issues?] It was quite tricky, the pitch up and down, quite hard to get going. We need one of the top five to bat through. [Catching?] Hard under the lights, more composure, we fight hard but need composure to get over the line. Didn't mind who we played, India have played some good cricket and we're going to have to play well to beat them."

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor: [Still unbeaten] "Yeah, at this point it's crucial. [Fielding?] When you look at the standard from the other night, you expect that. [Campbelle] She came and played her cameo, she was disappointed not to get us over the line, but she played a crucial part. [Expect to play in front of packed stands growing up?] No, I think the crowd is fantastic, it's electric, I want to tell St Lucia a big thank you for coming out and supporting women's cricket. [Semi v Australia?] It's not going to be easy, they're coming off a loss, but we need to focus on as a team what we need to do."

6.55pm: Well, I told you we could be in for a cracker... No sense that these sides were going through the motions, both having already qualified. West Indies were brilliant in the field, England less so, and that was probably the difference between the sides. Anya Shrubsole was magnificent with the new ball, but in the end a pair of 40s from Deandra Dottin and Shemaine Campbelle were enough to see West Indies home.

Deandra Dottin is named Player of the Match: "My bowling is giving me the most pleasure [at the moment], but I enjoy the batting as well. [Strengths?] Sticking to the basics, line and length. [Slow start with the bat?] After losing quick wickets, we had to bat long for the team and stay positive. Knock it around be smart about it."

Shrubsole to Kycia A Knight, FOUR runs

full outside off, sliced through point for four! That'll do it, the crowd erupts at the confirmation of victory for the home side - West Indies win by four wickets and will face Australia in the semi-final in Antigua!

In comes Kycia Knight, still West Indies' to lose

Shrubsole to Campbelle, OUT

skips down, carts the ball over the leg side - taken brilliantly by Wyatt in the deep! She clings on to a difficult chance, running to her right, then sliding just a yard in front of the rope! Campbelle falls, but she's got her side to the brink of victory

She copped a blow there, arm and maybe back, too. But after a visit from the physio, she's okay to carry on
