Warriors 142 for 7 (Jonker 42, Tanvir 2-22) beat Lions 138 for 6 (McKenzie 55*, Theron 3-25) by 4 runs
Scorecard and ball-by-ball details
Rusty Theron's 3 for 25 helped Warriors edge Lions by four runs in East London. Warriors started well with an 82-run stand between Christiaan Jonker and Ashwell Prince. Ingram chipped in with 21, but the rest of the batting order failed to capitalise as they finished at 142 for 7.
The Warriors restricted Lions to 47 for 3 in the eighth over. Neil McKenzie anchored the innings with an unbeaten 55, and put up decent partnerships with Sohail Tanvir (14) and Chris Morris (18*). They needed 40 from the last three overs and McKenzie hit four consecutive fours in the 18th over, reducing the margin to 21 from 12 but they eventually fell short by four runs
Knights 143 for 3 (Elgar 56*, Philander 2-17) beat Cape Cobras 140 for 7 (Ontong 51*, van Schalkwyk 2-23) by 7 wickets
Scorecard and ball-by-ball details
Dean Elgar and Obus Pienaar led the Knights to a seven-wicket win with an unbeaten 63-run stand in Bloemfontein. Vernon Philander struck twice in the first five overs to reduce the Knights to 23 for 2 but Elgar and Pite van Biljon put on 57 runs for the third wicket to help steady the innings. After van Biljon was run-out for 26, Elgar and Pienaar finished off the chase with two balls to spare.
Cape Cobras batted first, with Richard Levi leading things with 29. But they lost wickets at regular intervals after the second wicket fell at 44. Justin Ontong anchored the innings with his unbeaten 51*, as the rest of the batting order, barring Dane Vilas' 17, were out for single scores. After being 88 for 6, they scraped to 140 for 7 at the end of the innings. Shadley van Schalkywk had best figures of 2 for 23.
Titans 145 for 6 (Behardien 34*, Maharaj 2-13) beat Dolphins 143 for 5 (Chetty 44, van der Merwe 2-21) by 4 wickets
Scorecard and ball-by-ball details
Titans comfortably chased Dolphins's 143 in Centurion to edge closer to top-spot in the points table. Henry Davids led them off to a flyer, hitting a quickfire 26 off 14 balls with four boundaries, including three sixes. Contributions from Scott Styris (18), Farhaan Behardien (34*) and Albie Morkle (15) helped keep the required run-rate in check. David Wiese's 27 off eight balls, which also included three sixes, eventually helped seal the game for Titans.
Dolphins batted first, with the top and middle order providing valuable contributions. Cody Chetty's 44 off 28 helped keep the innings together before he fell in the 14th over and scores of 25 each from Ravi Bopara and David Miller ended the Dolphins innings at 143 for 5.
