At the half way stage, it seemed as if New Zealand would run away with 2 points from the game. The bowlers thought otherwise. They were well backed up by the fielders as the run-rate was kept under control from the first over. All the New Zealand batsmen spent time in the middle but found runs tough to come by. If this match is anything to go by, the rest of the matches should be thrillers too.
