Division One table-toppers Water and Power Development Authority completed a remarkable turnaround against Rawalpindi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, squeaking home by one wicket after being 28 for 5 in their first innings. WAPDA were indebted to No. 10 Sarfraz Ahmed, who came to the crease with 39 still to get, and decided to have a go at the bowling. He struck three fours and a six in making 26 from 21 balls, and by the time he was out, the visitor's needed just three more runs for victory.
Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited needed just 8.2 overs on the final day to complete a crushing defeat of b>Karachi Blues by an innings and 20 runs at the at the National Stadium in Karachi. Mohammad Ayub made an aggressive unbeaten century as Sialkot drew with National Bank of Pakistan at the Jinnah Stadium in Sialkot. Ayub's 107 was scored at better than a run a ball, and included 10 fours and three sixes. He added 119 with opener Jaward Ahmad, who managed 62, and a further 66 with Majid Jahangir.
