It came in the air, landed on a length around middle and off and shaped away late, Mahela did what he had to do; put his bat out to defend but it curved away and took a bit of outside edge. Superb innings, though. Yet another big century on his favorite piece of turf.

Samaraweera doesn't usually cut hard; he tries to guide it in the gaps but this time failed to beat the man. Good innings, though. He did make batting look pretty easy out there. And for Laxman it was his 99th Test catch
