46.2 to MK Pandey, fierce hit but he didn't quite get the elevation, turned out to be a flat one that was nicely caught by the long-on fielder. He looked to hit it a lot square, the ball just hurried into him a touch, nowhere near the middle as well. Good innings nonetheless.. 231/7

1.4 to S Dhawan, width on offer, a touch too full, Dhawan wanted to play the square drive but could only end up slicing it to the point fielder. Poor ball, poor stroke, lucky break for the hosts. No feet movement from Dhawan, swung the bat and ended up hitting it square. Soft dismissal. 4/1
5.3 to V Kohli, he pushes outside the line of the ball, it was full, nips away from middle to hit him on the back pad, he was squared up and the umpire had no hesitation whatsoever. Error in judgment has cost him a wicket here. Kohli thought it hit him high, didn't look happy with the decision. 19/2
26.4 to Gurkeerat Singh, superb delivery. Length ball on off, nips away late, Gurkeerat pushes at that half-heartedly, no feet movement whatsoever, gets a thin edge as the wicketkeeper accepts the chance gleefully. Poor stroke really, could have left that alone. 125/4
47.5 to RA Jadeja, didn't get enough power behind that lofted hit, looked to clear the ropes but can only hit it as far as the long off fielder. 243/8
49.1 to R Ashwin, backs away to ease it wide of the wicketkeeper, but can only manage a thin edge through to the wicketkeeper. Porter finishes with five wickets. The control he has maintained has been mighty impressive. 249/10

21.6 to AM Rahane, chopped back onto the stumps. It was short outside off, skid on, but Rahane played for the turn, the ball kept a touch low as the ball hit the stumps off the inside edge. 107/3
27.3 to RG Sharma, that is an outstanding catch. It was short and wide, Rohit's eyes lit up as he shaped to cut, was a touch late on the stroke as it flew off the thick edge, Short at slip stuck his hand out, it bobbled out but he recovered quickly to take it on the rebound and ensured the ball didn't bounce out off his hands as his elbow hit the turf. Brilliant catch, steady Rohit knock ends. 131/5
603716.16120120
37.3 to MS Dhoni, steps out to go over long-on but is completely deceived in flight, didn't get to the pitch of it, the ball spun away sharply as the wicketkeeper whipped the bails off quickly. Dhoni's scratchy innings ends. 171/6

9.5 to WG Bosisto, there's the first wicket. This was a back of length delivery just around off, shaped away a touch, he poked at it, feet nowhere near the ball as the thin edge flies to Dhoni who takes a regulation catch.. 39/1
712203.14302030
712824.00252020
17.6 to NR Hobson, would you believe it? Almost a repeat of the previous delivery. This time it was a length ball sliding across around off stump, he wanted to play at it, then withdraws but the ball skids on and by the time he decided against playing at it, the ball clipped his glove and flew through to MS Dhoni. Poor technique has cost him. 70/3
47.6 to J Morgan, looked to to over cover, only manage to get the toe-end as Rohit takes the simplest of catches at cover. Generated no power whatsoever behind the stroke. Second wicket for Rishi Dhawan. 182/8
1003823.80321100
24.4 to JM Carder, typical Jadeja wicket. Very, very accurate. Bowls one that pitches on middle and skids straight on, it was fairly full, so the batsman really didn't have enough time to execute the sweep, missed it completely and was trapped plumb in front of middle. As far as decisions go, it couldn't get simpler than that. Carter played well, but has thrown his wicket away after doing all the hard work. Error in judgment has cost him.. 96/4
40.1 to JM Muirhead, steps out to loft it over the ropes, but miscues the hit as he doesn't get to the pitch of the ball, Gurkeerat runs in, settles underneath it and takes a simple catch at long off. 154/7
1013223.20393000
16.3 to DJM Short, bowls it from wide of the crease, the ball drifts back into middle, spins away sharply, he looks to play a slog sweep, was nowhere near the pitch of the ball, played a touch early as well as the off stump is disturbed. Poor stroke under the circumstances. 61/2
33.5 to DN Porter, excellent use of angles. Floats this one on off, it was the straighter one, he played for the turn, got a thin edge and MS Dhoni took it easily. Ashwin's reaction suggests that he set him up. Superb execution again. 127/6
802923.62281010
25.3 to JP Inglis, shapes to pull but the ball drifts back into middle and wide of the crease, fizzes off the deck, he was in no position to play the pull as he misjudged the length, wasn't all that short as the ball beats his swing to hit the stumps. Typical Axar wicket that.. 98/5
48.5 to DJM Moody, thumped back down the ground, Axar threw himself himself to his left and pulls off the stunner. Went with one hand and caught it cleanly. Made it look so easy. 183/9
0.20113.0010000
49.2 to LN O'Connor, nicely tossed up, he looks to fetch the slog from outside off, only manages to get the toe end that lobs high in the air towards long on where Umesh Yadav makes no mistake.. 185/10
