0.5 to IJL Trott, in the channel, straightens a touch - and gone, he's nicked straight to slip! Stuck on the back foot, Trott is caught fishing outside off stump and after a comeback lasting three balls, almost a year and a half since his last Test, he's dismissed for a duck. 1/1
63.2 to JE Root, bowled him, Root has played on! Horns sound around the ground (in North Sound), Root swipes angrily at the turf... It was a length ball outside off and he was just trying to run it down, maybe came back in at him and clunked into the inside edge, deflected down on to leg stump. 211/4
95.2 to BA Stokes, got him! No hundred for Stokes as he finds gully. He'll be so annoyed by that. He just guided it to the man, really, as he opened the face to a delivery pushed across him to try and find third man. 357/6
2969443.2413713023
7.6 to AN Cook, nips back and bowled him! Roach spreads his arms in celebration, Cook drags himself off for another failure, extending his poor Test run. He was trying to push back down the ground but left a little gap, the ball ducked in a fraction, took the inside edge and sent the bails flying. 22/2
88.6 to IR Bell, hoho a beauty and Bell nicks it behind! It fizzes through, takes a thin outside edge and Ramdin bags an easy catch. It bounces and seamed away and there was nothing Bell could do really. Finally West indies put one in the right area. 341/5
101.6 to JC Buttler, and the pressure pays off! Terrific cricket from West Indies today. A full ball outside off, Buttler drives with his feet stuck, gets a thick outside edge to Ramdin. Fully earned. Buttler broke first.. 361/8
103.3 to SCJ Broad, full now and carved loosely straight to backward point! Another one goes, Broad was backing away and poked at the ball like it was the proverbial hot potato. No problems for Blackwood to hang on, though. 361/9
25116922.7612712012
16.5 to GS Ballance, full and wide of off stump, Ballance reaches out for it and nicks it to slip! Very poor stroke and a comfortable catch at head height. He had been jittery Ballance and he played a dreadful shot at this, reaching so far away from his body and got a thick edge, should have been left alone. 34/3
98.1 to JC Tredwell, he won't be batting any more. Edged to first slip. Full outside off from over the wicket, Tredwell drives and gets a healthy outside edge comfortably to Bravo. 357/7
2638503.261168100
10.405114.78364100
110.4 to JM Anderson, got him, Anderson mistimes one to short cover! That was one sally too far, no real intent in the shot, he went back and dollied a length ball to Holder, who accepts it like catching practice. 399/10

8.2 to DS Smith, there's the first one for Anderson! Lovely bowling. The change of angle works, finds the area around off stump, makes Smith play and the outside edge is pouched by Buttler. Three for the record.. 19/1
112.6 to SJ Benn, length ball at the pads, deflects to short leg, there's an appeal for a catch and given out! Clearly some bat involved because Benn turns around and walks straight off. He was trying to flick another one away over the leg side but was there too late with the shot and it came off thigh pad, then a little bat, and popped up to Joe Root. 295/10
2226723.041028000
32.5 to MN Samuels, edged! Big wicket. Gets the ball a touch fuller outside off - bit of a cutter, too, so credit to Broad - Samuels presses forward but can only get a thin nick which carries low to Buttler. Ottis Gibson applauds from the balcony, suggests a plan has come off. 89/3
89.4 to D Ramdin, around the wicket, another short one, this down the leg side and there's an appeal for caught behind and given out! Great time to strike for England, seems to have come off the glove through to Buttler, Ramdin couldn't get his bat out of the way and he trudges off in full knowledge that he's got quite a lot on that, easy catch for the keeper. 227/6
2384612.001167011
17.2 to DM Bravo, in the channel, not overly threatening... but Bravo has been caught fishing! In fact, he was trying to leave but raised his bat too late, there was an audible edge and Bowden's crooked finger went straight up. The line was wide enough for Bravo to ignore all day but he pays for his indecision. 42/2
1936403.36909101
26124741.801355100
37.2 to KC Brathwaite, what a stunning catch! Much debate about how fine Jordan is stood at slip, but he's pulled off a blinder here. Brathwaite prodding off the back foot, the ball went low to Jordan's right and he plucked it a fraction off the turf. 99/4
78.4 to S Chanderpaul, driven and he's picked out the catcher at cover! Would you believe it, Shiv has walked into the trap! Tredwell skips in delight, Stokes hurls the ball into the air... Chanderpaul was looking for runs again but wasn't quite to the pitch this time, scooped it to the fielder. 192/5
103.3 to JO Holder, touch wider, driven towards the covers and taken! Chipped in the air with Holder not able to get over the top of the delivery and presented a straightforward catch to Gary Ballance who got down slightly to his left to take the chance. Takes the gloss off Blackwood's ton slightly, a loose stroke having looked relatively comfortable. 276/7
111.2 to KAJ Roach, quicker ball outside off stump, Roach pushes at it and nicks it behind! Thin edge to Buttler, the change of pace does the trick. Wider line, Roach perhaps playing for a bit of turn but it went straight on and Roach nicked off. 292/8

4.6 to IJL Trott, full length just outside off, Trott comes forward to drive and nicks it behind! Lovely swinging delivery and Trott was unsure of his footwork, coming forward late and playing the stroke on the move, getting a thin edge which carried low to Ramdin going to his right. Same bowler, same batsman as the first dig. 15/1
6.4 to AN Cook, full length a foot outside off, Cook pushes firmly at it and edges to gully! So now the England captain goes. It's a really full delivery but two feet wide of off stump, absolutely no need for Cook to play at this but he poked at it and got a thick outside edge straight to the gully who accepted a straightforward chance. 20/2
1415313.78648002
85.6 to CJ Jordan, length on the stumps, slogged high into the leg side and Darren Bravo gets underneath if, judges the catch well, Roach has his wicket - and that's enough for Alastair Cook, he's calling Buttler in. 333/7
1756313.70715012
51.4 to JE Root, breakthrough! Similar dismissal to the first innings. Looking to run the ball into the off side, deflects it down into his crease and the ball spins back into the stumps. 166/4
26311524.421068501
67.4 to BA Stokes, charges and misses! Stokes keen to push on, he steps down the pitch, the ball goes straight on and he's a pretty long way from it. Simple stumping. 226/5
79.2 to GS Ballance, there's the slog-sweep but he picks out deep midwicket. Into the wind and the ball holds up in the breeze and doesn't quite have the legs to clear the boundary. Comfortable catch. 281/6

55.2 to MN Samuels, full length quite wide of off stump, driven at and edged to gully! Anderson equals Sir Ian Botham's record. Thick outside edge from Samuels, leaning out with no footwork, and it was well held down low in the gully, solid catch and a second strike for England in quick succession and the second error of judgement from the batsmen. 127/4
111.2 to D Ramdin, length ball just outside off, pushed at forward and nicks to slip!! There's the breakthrough and James Anderson is now the leading England Test wicket taker, overtaking Sir Ian Botham. It was another legcutter and this did nip away a little and took a healthy outside edge with Ramdin trying to defend just outside off, it flew to Alastair Cook who went quickly to his left and held a solid chance. Well done Jimmy, all his family and a lot of his friends are here to celebrate the achievement. 294/7
2156112.90987000
1.5 to KC Brathwaite, got him, snorting bouncer at the head, Brathwaite fends it straight to the accepting hands of short leg! England had a clear plan there and it has come off at virtually the first time of asking... Well directed throat ball from Broad, tucked the batsman up and he threw his hands up, spliced it to Root, who was ready and waiting under the helmet. 7/1
40149312.3220413200
52.5 to DS Smith, down the track, doesn't get this aerially enough and it's taken by mid-on! Smith chucks it away with a poor stroke, advancing down the wicket, trying to go over the top, he wasn't to the pitch of the ball, had to drag it leg side and didn't get the elevation to clear Ballance who took it with two hands above his head. 119/3
1864812.66895002
79.1 to J Blackwood, oh goodness, a charge down, attempted slap to leg and edges behind! What in heavens name was that shot? An over until the new ball too. Playing a natural game and looking to score is one thing but this is pure recklessness. Blackwood takes a step down the wicket and tries to swing a length ball through the leg side, got a thin underedge and Buttler took it down low to his left. A horrible swipe, a horrible dismissal. 189/6
1305003.84558000
1362221.69693000
34.1 to DM Bravo, tossed up into his ballpark, Bravo drives and gets an edge - sensational from Jordan, he's grabbed another worldie at slip! Root charges off like he's won the World Cup, leaps and punches the air. Bravo was lured into having a go, it turned out of a footmark and flew low to Jordan's right, he snapped it up one-handed. 90/2
68.1 to S Chanderpaul, sliding on with the arm, past the inside edge and that's got him, trapped in front - Root has struck again! Off he goes, like he's Cristiano Ronaldo, or Jade Dernbach... Shiv asks for the review, more in hope than conviction, and Hawk-Eye suggest the ball would have gone on to hit leg stump halfway up. The decision stands and England have winkled out Chanderpaul ten minutes before lunch. 155/5
